The selection criteria being, are you completely loyal to 'ME' , the whole (ME) and nothing but the 'ME' (Trump).

Mission being to erase all of Trump's future legal jeopardy, destroy all the records and go hard after Trump's opponents. Putting fear of God (Trump) into everyone including anyone on his side, dissuading any leakers or traitors .
With a side mission to see if USA can be made forever Trump, its a big family.

Matt Gates was ideal as he had legal jeopardy of his own, so was going to follow orders better than German Generals.
Presidential pardon just hanging there almost in reach.

RFK with his many faults is assured of loyalty as no one else would elevate him to any position.
He seems hell bent on visiting the misery he visited on Samoa to whole of USA, and then maybe.
The faults assure his loyalty.

On Generals, well next time Trump asks them to Nuke a Hurricane, it had better be 'Yes Sir'.

From a quick Google she's a 2020-election-result denier and for sale to any bidder... uhh, "donor", who comes along. So a perfect fit for Trump.

That's true, but some of his picks have been fairly normal politicians who might be okay at the roles he's picked them for, eg, Marco Rubio - I can't imagine he would have too many problems getting Senate confirmation.

It's interesting not so much for the content but for demonstrating that Kremlinology didn't die with the Soviet Union (the German form "Kremlastrology" is probably a better description of it).
