Interesting to see him smiling there, most of the official portraits I've seen of him he has that angry scowl on.

Just a couple of cartoons this week, mostly relating to the Musk/Trump presidency:

Yeah Trump has a permanent "get off my my lawn" expression.

But if you look, you getting pictures like this, smiling after mocking a reporter with a disability, suffering from a chronic condition.

ELON/Techbros and MAGA falling out over immigration, and calling USA workers useless.

The free speech absolutist starting to ban MAGAs that criticize him.
As he always has when confronted.
Laura Loomer got reinstated probably as she is so close to Trump, but looks to be shadowed.

Here we're seeing MAGA turning against MAGA - and the orange buffoon isn't even in office yet! It's glorious 🍿

I'd guess if Steve Bannon could "f__k himself in the face" as always classy Elon suggests, it would be a point of pride, since many MAGA can't even see Trump Jr when looking down.

Oh, I see. If it's something his rich pals have said or done, then the orange buffoon is suddenly 100% on board with it πŸ™„

Otherwise everyone else (Bannon? Loomer?) can get stuffed.

Of course, knowing what Trump is like, I bet if he could he would only allow this visa to be applicable for immigrants of a (I hate saying this, but it's true) specific race 😠

Trump to Musk: "Yeah you're right. Some of 'em are from non-shithole countries. Speaking of Africa, Thanks for gifting me the African country of Wakanda. I can't wait to sell the Vibranium."

https://edition.cnn.com/2024/12/30/politics/trump-musk-h1b-visa-analysis/index.html

The visa issue erupted into a full-blown storm following comments by Vivek Ramaswamy, Musk’s co-chair of the Department of Government Efficiency, which Trump has set up to slash the size of federal operations. The former GOP presidential candidate criticized American culture, education standards and children’s TV that he said “venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long.” The comments came perilously close to an elitist’s disdain for millions of Americans and their culture that Republicans have long accused Democrats of promoting.

Interesting analysis from CNN on the Trump/Musk/MAGA visa thing (this guy often writes good analyticals about the orange buffoon).

Trump loses his appeal in the Carroll case. How long until he has to start writing cheques thanks to his big, loud, lying mouth?

The irony here is that their hero, the orange buffoon, was a driving force in getting the vaccine created, in order to save lives πŸ™„

I know when I have surgery, I don't want pesky professionals with all their opinions. I expect the same for politicians making potentially world-altering decisions.

Countdown to Trump II, and what to expect: Federal News Network

...remove certain civil service protections against firing, namely people with jobs β€œof a confidential, policy-determining, policy-making, or policy-advocating character ...

...The Biden administration has issued extensive policy on the acquisition and use of AI by federal agencies. It’s taken a high regulated stance for AI in the private sector. People who watch these things expect relaxation of the former and cancellation of the latter...

Russia is loving Trump's threatening the US neighbors, Panama Canal, Greenland and Canada. That's because it excuses Russia's land grabs.

Russia may, or may not, have special insight into Trump, but most of Russia media say Trump is serious, not joking.

"The Economic Times" is center-right.

Is Trump secretly helping Putin? Russia's take on US President-elect's bold Panama Canal annexation proposal: The Economic Times

Is US President-elect Donald Trump secretly helping Russian President Vladimir Putin?

Recently, Trump proposed that he would take back Panama Canal, Greenland and Canada. These remarks were met with enthusiasm on Russian state TV. Insiders are also hopeful that with Trump coming back to the White House, US and Russia ties might see an improvement.
