Looks like the orange buffoon and his new billionaire BFF's policies are starting to tick a few people off.

Oh! Dear How Sad. I have said this before: You got what you voted for and if you did not vote at all, then you still got it. The warnings were there in his first term. They have been published and posted for the past 4 years and now you complain.
No sympathy from me here.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
I'm more annoyed about the Democrats who sat at home (how many there were I don't know, but I imagine there were a few) and didn't vote for Harris, now they're reaping what they sow. This was all avoidable if people had just got out there and voted - borne out by the turnout between this election and 2020 being down 2.7%. That 2.7% - especially in the swing states - could have made quite a difference if those people had only turned up to vote, moreso since Trump only beat Harris by 1.5%; hardly the "landslide" he claimed it was.

These are the same type of ignorant people who successfully prevented the future of younger UK people within the EU during the Brexit vote or even caused them to emigrate from the UK to the EU.
I can't remember how many young highly qualified and talented colleagues in my company have put down roots in some EU country and got an EU passport. One of them had an Irish grandma and so he was an EU citizen in no time and hasn't looked back.
Now Canada is even seriously thinking out loud about EU membership.
- NET: FTTH, OPNsense, 10G backbone, GWN APs, ipPBX

- IoT: thread, zigbee, tasmota, BidCoS, LoRa, WX suite, IR
- 3D: two 3D printers, 3D scanner, CNC router, laser cutter

Not entirely unthinkable, they already share a land border.

Its a democracy, the people voted. Watched an article today, Trump was all out there, day in day out. Say it often enough, people take it in. Marketing. If ABC Widgets Ltd advertise continually thats its the best thing ever, it becomes the best thing ever. Masses will buy, or in this case, vote. Its a democracy. 4 years will resolve that. Its only been 2 weeks and a few days and its already not possible to discuss the one, two or three topical issues that you would get for any new Government. Most new governments irregardless of philosophy, are generally run by normal people with normal public services goals. Not this time, but as I said, 4 years will resolve that. Another two terms to resolve the division between fellow Americans ,and USA and other countries. In the interim, Putin and Netanyu, etc will get what they want. Death and territory.

Hans Island?
Irregardless, as I alluded to days ago, many countries, will seek to reduce dependence on the US, so as to reduce being bullied, and to engage more with friendly nations. Human nature really.

Yup, site of one of the most civilised wars in history, the Whisky War. So named because of the bottles of alcohol the two combatants kept leaving for each other.

Reading stuff, if that island is a legal right for Canada to join the EU, and they already share EU values, why not. In an orderly relationship, parties cooperate to benefit each other. Sounds novel lately :-) but why not. Put your eggs in friendly baskets.

Its a great deal. Tariff another country, and transfer American citizens money to the US Treasury. Its a tax, but lets call it a tariff on [insert country here].....
Some resistance to Trump tyranny:
The NY Times - Trump Administration Live Updates: Judge Delays Federal Worker Resignation Plan
breaking
A federal judge in Massachusetts suspended a deadline for federal workers to apply for a delayed resignation offer until at least Monday afternoon, when a hearing will be held. The offer, which had been set to expire at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, is part of President Trump’s campaign to drastically cut the size of the federal government. The administration said tens of thousands of workers had already accepted. ...
A second federal judge has issued a nationwide preliminary injunction to block President Trump’s effort to end automatic citizenship for babies born on U.S. soil to undocumented and temporary immigrants. The injunction, which Judge John C. Coughenour of the Western District of Washington signed during a hearing this morning, bolsters another injunction issued Wednesday by a federal judge in Maryland.

I wonder if these people who didn't vote for Harris as they felt she was too supportive of Israel are feeling right now?
I get the feeling the orange buffoon's idea to just "clear out Gaza" is the last thing they expected to happen!
