The whole thing does feed Trump, and his cabinets desire to have an 'emergency'.
Then the 'emergency' justifies dictatorial powers in USA.

Trump creates emergency, ( They are eating Cats and Dogs ), to grow power ostensibly to solve it.
Requires powers beyond the constitution.
Then moves onto next 'emergency'.

Trump only has to fall back to old 'hate' tropes again and MAGA will rally back to him.

Unfortunately, this is not just Trump, he has bought in a whole raft of ketamine carpetbaggers.
When he is gone it does not go away.

From the Putin parody account.

Two opinion pieces worth reading in full:

The Guardian - No matter what Trump says, the US has gone to war - and there will be profound and lasting consequences.

today

Trump has fallen slap bang into the trap laid for him by Netanyahu.

Bombing will not make Iran go away. US bombs will not destroy the know-how needed to build a nuclear weapon or the will do so, if that is what Tehran wants. The huge attack ordered by Donald Trump will not halt ongoing open warfare between Israel and Iran. It will not bring lasting peace to the Middle East, end the slaughter in Gaza, deliver justice to the Palestinians, or end more than half a century of bitter enmity between Tehran and Washington.

More likely, Trump’s rash, reckless gamble will inflame and exacerbate all these problems.

Depending on how Iran and its allies and supporters react, the region could plunge into an uncontrolled conflagration. US bases in the Persian Gulf and elsewhere in the region, home to about 40,000 American troops, must now be considered potential targets for retaliation - and possibly British and allied forces, too. ...

Trump, the isolationist president who vowed to avoid foreign wars, has walked slap bang into a trap prepared by Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu - a trap his smarter predecessors avoided.

Netanyahu has constantly exaggerated the immediacy of the Iranian nuclear threat. His alarmist speeches on this subject go back 30 years. Always, he claimed to know what UN nuclear inspectors, US and European intelligence agencies and even some of his own spy chiefs did not - namely, that Iran was on the verge of deploying a ready-to-use nuclear weapon aimed at Israel’s heart. This contention has never been proven. …

The NY Times - Iran Gave Notice Before Attack on U.S. Base, and Trump Says It’s ‘Time for Peace’

breaking

Iran’s missile attack on Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American military installation in the Middle East, appeared calculated to avoid a U.S. response.

President Trump’s first public comments suggested he did not plan to retaliate.

Trump seems to imagine that wars can be turned on and off like a tap, at his command.  🙄

Last month,  Trump publicly claimed credit for brokering the India-Pakistan ceasefire, stating that his efforts and U.S. diplomatic intervention “stopped the war.”

The Indian government firmly denied any U.S. mediation role, stating the ceasefire resulted solely from India-Pakistan discussions

PM Modi made it clear that India “had not accepted and will not accept any mediation” and attributes the ceasefire to his leadership.

The two leaders were expected to meet during the G7 summit in Canada in June, but it didn't happen.

Following that, Trump extended an invitation for Modi to visit Washington, D.C. 2.

Ordinarily, Indian leaders view White House invitations as highly prestigious. A meeting at the White House is deeply symbolic for India's foreign policy and U.S. India ties.

But Modi declined the invitation. There's been conjecture that Modi not happy with Trump, because let's face it: Trump is a dick.

After Enforcement by ICE and Deportations, Indian undocumented immigrants in US Live in Fear: The Wire India

The fear of being caught in US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids and being deported has forced many Indian youths who entered the US without legal documentation via the ‘dunki’ route to hide at home and quit work.

Their fears and anxieties have mounted following the deportation of 104 Indians from the US last Wednesday (February 5).

Reports and visuals of deportees in handcuffs and shackles, and of the possible deportation of a further 487 presumed Indian nationals, have left the youth, who hail from Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat, alarmed.

Following US President Donald Trump’s executive orders on immigration and the ICE raids that have taken place since he took office, some gas stations as well as grocery and liquor stores where these youths worked for cash have reportedly lay empty.

Trump standard replies to any victim:
"What are you gonna do about it?"
  • "You ain't got the guts."
  • "Go ahead, make a move."
  • "Sit down and stay in your lane."
  • "You're all talk."
  • "Thought so."
  • "Know your place."
  • "You wouldn't dare."
  • "Touch me and you're dead."
  • "Cry about it."

LOL! Like they care what you think!

Also - the orange buffoon may have announced a "ceasefire" between Iran and Israel...but Iran says otherwise:

From: https://www.thebulwark.com/i/166593577/four-lingering-questions

That’s not to say the attack will hurt Trump politically: MAGA types who opposed the strikes in theory are far less likely to do so now that Dear Leader has deemed them wise. And the success of the strike may win over some doubters too. But if public opinion remains frosty about further hostilities, and if Iran’s uranium remains elusive, Trump may find himself squeezed between unpleasant options: let a newly enraged Iran carry on toward nuclear-grade enrichment, albeit on a newly prolonged timeline; or strike again, risking both heavier public blowback and deeper military entanglement.

Deserves the Nobel Pee Prize.

Actually thats a pathetic post on my part, but its still true.

Issues happen. Parties bargain for position, AKA posturing. But I detest marketing puffery in an issue such as this, and I hate lies.

Israel wants Irans nuclear capability ceased, Trump said it was obliterated??

Ceasefire arranged by Qatar, still news in action, yet Trump said its s done deal, it isnt.

USA needs to be ousted from all this, Middle East states, with an EU/UK presence allows predominantly normal countries to work together. You cant do that with Trump.

Iran needs to do away with the nukes, it wont work. When its working the last 2 weeks happens. I assume International Law allows countries to defend themselves, so Iran can boost its missiles and troops, as a deterrent. Like anyone else. With no nuke threat that decapitates Israel from Gaza 2.0 in Iran.

The NY Times - Strike Set Back Iran’s Nuclear Program by Only a Few Months, U.S. Report Says

breaking

The attack sealed off the entrances to two nuclear facilities but did not collapse their underground buildings, classified findings indicated.

The report suggests that President Trump’s earlier statement on the strike’s success was overstated.

The early findings conclude that the strikes over the weekend set back Iran’s nuclear program by only a few months, the officials said. ...

The White House took issue with the assessment. Karoline Leavitt, a White House spokeswoman, said it was “flat-out wrong.”

EDIT:  The report source: The Defense Intelligence Agency

The initial report was labeled “low confidence”.
