Hunter Biden gives blunt two-word response to Melania Trump’s threats of $1 billion defamation lawsuit: The Independent

Hunter Biden has refused to apologize to First Lady Melania Trump after she threatened him with legal action for “over $1bn in damages” if he failed to retract comments he made linking her to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

“F*** that! That’s not going to happen,” Biden laughed during a new interview with a British journalist Andrew Callaghan
...
“First of all is that, what I said was what I have heard and seen reported and written, primarily from Michael Wolff but also dating back all the way to 2019 when The New York Times – I think Annie Carney and and Maggie Haberman – reported that sources said that Jeffrey Epstein claimed to be the person to introduce Donald Trump to Melania at that time,” Biden continued.

“But the primary source was the interviews that Michael Wolff has been conducting, in which he has actually tapes of, I think, hours and hours and hours of interviews with Jeffrey Epstein directly.
...
Lawyers for Trump had objected to two statements made by Biden, the son of former president Joe Biden,
...
Biden alleged that it was Epstein who first introduced Melania to Trump in the late 1990s, when she was a fashion model
...
“Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. The connections are, like, so wide and deep,” Biden said in one of the comments Trump disputes.

The Washington Post - D.C. attorney general sues Trump administration over ‘hostile takeover’ of police

breaking

D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb has sued President Donald Trump over his executive actions asserting control over the D.C. police department and attempting to install an emergency police commissioner, one of the most extraordinary exertions of federal power in the city’s half-century of home rule. ...

By declaring a hostile takeover of MPD, the Administration is abusing its limited, temporary authority under the Home Rule Act, infringing on the District’s right to self-governance and putting the safety of DC residents and visitors at risk,” Schwalb said in a statement.

The Administration’s unlawful actions are an affront to the dignity and autonomy of the 700,000 Americans who call DC home. This is the gravest threat to Home Rule that the District has ever faced, and we are fighting to stop it.”

Somebody is pushing back, for a change.  🙄

Some brief rough language in video.

Note I find Hunter Biden trashy, but he's not a pedophile like Epstein, and people Epstein frequently partied with, and artists that "never wrote a picture in my life."

In the words of Judge Stephen Trott:
"Because prosecutors cannot choose the company that criminals keep, they must frequently be prepared to deal with snitches, accomplices, and informants."

Or a Fifth Circuit judge:
"No practice is more ingrained in our criminal justice system than the practice of the government calling a witness who is an accessory"

Is Trump insulting native indigenous Americans and saying good things about slavery or is that cartoon getting carried away with poetic license?

I've seen some pictures of Trump and Putin. One of them looks very confident and one of them does not. Is this going to be the meeting where Putin hands over the only copy of the pee tape in exchange for a chunk of Ukraine? ; ))

This was a non-event  😐

The NY Times - Trump Says There Is ‘No Deal’ on Ukraine After Summit With Putin

President Trump and President Vladimir V. Putin addressed the news media after their summit in Anchorage. Mr. Trump called it an “extremely productive” meeting but said no deal was reached on a cease-fire in Ukraine.

After three hours of talks, President Trump and President Vladimir Putin of Russia told reporters that they had made progress on unspecified issues, but they gave no details, took no questions, and most importantly failed to announce a ceasefire of any kind.

The meeting broke up several hours before scheduled, and far short of the six or seven hours of discussions that Mr. Putin’s aides said they expected for the talks.

and almost forgot, no Nobel Peace Prize for the orange buffoon.🦧

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Trumps unspecified productive progress TACOs ?
Another 90 days or else, tighter noose on supplies to Ukraine even if they pay?
Trump can even strangle European supplies as it has say on any USA components, tech?

I might be wrong on Hunter?.

There has been nothing I have seen to suggest that Hunter Biden is cruel to others like the whole Trump clan.

Like many who could have done much better in their lives and drawn into drink and drugs he has been mostly a harm to himself, and pain to those who care for him.

Not gone out of his way to harm others in the way Trumps family MTG, and Trumplicans do all day every day, seeing empathy as a weakness to be purged.

Taking the horror they visited upon those seized by ICE sent to El Salvador, Alligator Alcatraz etc as a tiny example.

We heard first hand the horrors of El Salvador mega prison housing Trump’s deportees
https://www.miamiherald.com/opinion/op-ed/article306224231.html

ICE sent 3 U.S. citizen children, including boy with cancer, to Honduras with their deported moms
An immigration group filed a lawsuit on behalf of two families, saying they were not given access to legal counsel before two mothers and their children were sent to Central America.

New Zealander detained by ICE waits for decision on six-year-old son's release
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/top/569783/new-zealander-detained-by-ice-waits-for-decision-on-six-year-old-son-s-release

So nothing special ...
When brittle fragile TACO and his lackies coddle a mass murderer, bent of giving him a good deal for fun and profit.
Putin's empire of brutality, torture, assassination, and murder on industrial scale.
Chechnya, Georgia, Africa, Assads Syria, etc

Hunter, mainly a damage to himself and those who love him, who has capacity to change seeming to lack the cruel nature of his attackers ?

Ooooohhhh... I am so woke that I totally failed to connect "Indian" with "Native American" and thought they meant Indians ... you know, from India. Either way racist AF.

So, how's that "electing Trump because electing Harris was the bad option" thing going, America?

Also, whoever runs Gavin Newsom's social media pages deserves a raise 😀

Trump repeatedly used “Pocahontas” in rallies, debates, and tweets to mock Senator Elizabeth Warren over her claimed Native American ancestry.

Speaking before three World War II Navajo veterans, Trump said:

“We have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her ‘Pocahontas.’”

Trump Suggests Abraham Lincoln Should’ve Let the South Keep a Little Slavery: Vanity Fair

Donald Trump appeared on Fox News [October 2024], where, during a characteristically bizarre interview, he suggested Abraham Lincoln could have avoided the Civil War by cutting a deal with the South—which, as a reminder, wanted slavery to remain legal.

Asked by a 10-year-old who his favorite president was when he was “little,” Trump began by saying he “liked Ronald Reagan.” (Note: Trump was 34 when Reagan first took office, and 42 when he left.) Then he turned to Lincoln, who he believes was a great president—but could’ve been better if he’d “settled” the Civil War.

“Great presidents?” Trump said. “Lincoln was probably a great president, although I’ve always said, why wasn’t that settled? You know, I’m a guy that—it doesn’t make sense we had a Civil War…. You’d almost say, like, why wasn’t that [settled]?"

He continue "As an example, Ukraine would have never happened, and Russia.

"If I were president Israel would have never happened; October 7 [Hamas] would have never happened, as you know.”
...
President Trump’s Question About the Civil War Was Answered by Abraham Lincoln in 1865: Time

In an interview, President Trump expressed his continued admiration for President Andrew Jackson, US president from 1829 to 1837, with a remark that struck many as surprising, to say the least.

“I mean, had Andrew Jackson been a little later you wouldn’t have had the Civil War. He was a very tough person, but he had a big heart. He was really angry that he saw what was happening with regard to the Civil War, he said, ‘There’s no reason for this,'” Trump said. “People don’t realize, you know, the Civil War, if you think about it, why? People don’t ask that question, but why was there the Civil War? Why could that one not have been worked out?”
...
Andrew Jackson died in 1845 — nearly two decades before the Civil War began

Same old thing. Lots of grandiose words and no action. Ive been busy today but what I did catch is that Trump told Zelensky that he needs to get a ceasefire and end the war. So Trump failed yet again and again. Acting only goes so far.

EU needs to step up and they are. The tricky bit is taking over as Trump cannot cut it, but pandering to Trump so he doesnt cut off arms and intelligence, which he has already done in recent times. Perhaps Macron, Starmer, Merz etc need a meeting with Putin to get guidance on manipulating, sorry, guidance....... and managing the idiot

Its all about staying engaged until normal Service is resumed, i.e. Trump is outed, gone burger, and a normal POTUS is in place.Whether the new POTUS is GOP pr Democrat is largely irrelevant.

Trump TACO, deadline after deadline, threats of "serious consequences".

Deadline ticks over, so meeting arranged as a distraction.

Clock resets 'again' two or three weeks he might think about it.
None of the threatened new sanctions or "other serious consequences"
Such a Strongman.

Trump also TACO-ed out on China Tariffs too.

Troops in Washington. I imagine it's a lot easier to smell cannabis smoking a mile away compared to meth and crack smoking:

"NZHerald: Calhoun said he had mostly seen the troops outside train stations, adding that he noticed they had “a lot of focus on cannabis use”. Washington legalised cannabis use on private property in 2015, however, it is still prohibited under federal law."

Trump has made noises about ending marijuana laws. A large number of Americans would be more than happy to give him the Nobel Peace Prize for it.
