The numbers start small and increase as the video goes on adding up to billions. It would be more shocking in reverse order imo descending to the Whitehouse gift shop cash cow.

...the carrier has faced a great deal of skepticism over the T1 phone since the company originally boasted it would be “Proudly Made in America," a feat no smartphone company has completely pulled off with their own devices.

Although Trump himself has been pushing for the iPhone to be produced domestically in the US, companies have long relied on the vast supply chains in Asia to pump out consumer electronics. Following the scrutiny, Trump Mobile quietly changed the promotional language for the T1 to vaguely say it’ll be “brought to life right here in the USA” with the help of “American hands.”

Despite the website changes, Trump Mobile told PCMag at the time: "The T1 phones are proudly being made in America. Speculation to the contrary is simply inaccurate. We’re excited to launch the phones later this year..."

It may not be clear in the article, but it appears to be a clear gold tinged plastic case, S25 Ultra case from Spigen.

This plastic case would obviously be completely separate from the phone, and not coincidently, the laziest, tackiest, and distinctly Trumpian way to do it.

To produce that case, worst case most expensive expect something like US$6 each at 200k–500k+ qty, plus packaging and freight. Worst case one-time tooling that’s likely US$60,000. Again worse case maybe $7, but likely closer to $2 each.

I'd expect the only change to the phone is changing the wallpaper.

The problem is that they bake in $200-$300 billion in annual federal income, and unless Dems want to raise taxes elsewhere,

 

The Rest of the World is likely going to have to live with them for a long time

 

 

DEMs can walk them back, but not all of them, win/win

Or just trade less with the US and more widely with everywhere else. Some short term pain while everyone readjusts but the long term outcome will be better. If the Americans just want to stew in their own farts, let 'em.

 

 

That is so much it, and mentioned in media and other commentary over this year. Not a quick fix, but its not hard to chat to friends who are also feeling the tariff pain, and rework international trade. Friends get on well with friends, and its not a stretch that countries who have some issues, can put self trade ahead of other issues. Indirectly, that may in fact help the other issues.

I saw on the media yesterday, that Trump is bagging crooked Biden for not allowing UKR to attack Russia. I will assume that is correct.

 

Given that, is Trump giving the go ahead for UKR to attack Russia? In the recent past Trump fawned over Putin. Then he said Putin might be tapping him. Nek Minnit, Trump is engaging with him. Days later he now seems to want/think that UKR can attack Russia. But as we all know, its not about results, its about me.

 

Go EU, and International Trade outside of the US. Disclosure, Ive spent a lot of time in the US, great place, great people, albeit with many issues. But a line needs to be drawn
