Too harsh?

Yeah, but imagine what a MAGA shrine it'd become. Tidiest plan would be for Musk to do another Tesla space-launch, but this time with Trumpy tucked up  in the trunk.

Speculation rife about video showing objects thrown out of Whitehouse residence window:

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-calls-video-bag-thrown-white-house-fake/story?id=125199121

Melania sent Don to the couch downstairs and threw all his things down after him? ; ). An AI expert quoted in the article says the video is not AI generated.

Great location for Trump's grave: Baker Island & Howland Island

Tiny uninhabited islands south of Hawaii, known for Amelia Earhart’s disappearance.

Extremely hard to reach, no airstrips. Neither island has a functioning runway today. Even if you flew, you couldn’t land safely. When it did have an airstrip, landing was treacherous

Flight from Hawaii to islands is the same distance as flights from Hawaii to Los Angeles

Or better, give him a start him on his final sendoff to hell a la Osama bin Laden style.

After U.S. Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden in 2011, his body was taken to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson in the Arabian Sea.

His body was washed and wrapped in a white shroud following Islamic burial traditions.

A brief religious service was conducted with Arabic prayers read by a Navy chaplain.

He was then buried at sea to avoid creating a physical gravesite that could become a shrine.

An Islamic blessing and burial at sea would be perfect for Trump!

The NY Times - Trump Is Renaming the Defense Department the Department of War

04 Sep 2025

President Trump will sign an executive order on Friday renaming the Department of Defense the Department of War, the White House said, fulfilling his pledge to realign the military’s mission by restoring the name the agency held until shortly after World War II. ...

Mr. Trump looks to project strength rather than the “wokeness” that he and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth say clouded the military’s morale and mission under former President Biden. ...

Mr. Trump first floated the idea in August in the Oval Office, saying it “just sounded better” ...

Another Trumpy distraction from the dreaded Epstein files.  😎

Suppose the new Dept has to declare a WAR against someone, otherwise why have ?

Canada, Greenland, Panama, Venezuela, Mexico, so many options.
Trump Gaza?

Thiel, Elon, and Techbros may finally get their city 'Rapture' (Trump Gaza) inspired by Bioshock.
Where they rule absolutely.

Wouldn't work. No matter what they weighed him down with, he'd still float.

Some background on the current state of the Federal Aviation Administration FAA. Trump nominated Bryan Bedford, then CEO of Republic Airways.

Bedford never held a commercial pilot’s license, despite previous claims indicating he did.

As CEO, Bedford actively opposed the FAA's 1,500-hour rule. It requires pilots to have 1,500 hours of flight experience to fly for major airlines. He wanted this reduced to 750 hours (military) or 1,000 (bachelor degree) or 1,250 hours (associate's degree)

Bedford is now FAA administrator.

On Monday, Trump declared Washington D.C. a "crime free zone’ despite 442 Crimes reported in the previous week

One of the high profile crimes, committed while his federal takeover of law enforcement, was a kidnapping of a 7 year old near the airport DCA / Washington Reagan National Airport

A police federal helicopter flew into the DCA airspace causing flight delays.

Very shortly afterwards, a little noticed new "FAA" directive came into effect. Police choppers have to wait. Air traffic controllers to stop letting police helicopter missions take priority over airline traffic.

Again this directive's event initiator was a kidnapping of a 7 year old, causing flight delays.

Republicans: airline flight safety and crime against children are always first priorities* (*terms of conditions apply. Any statements provided herein may be inaccurate, outdated, or made up entirely.)

The NY Times - Late Night Thinks Trump Has a Case of Parade Envy    (04 Sep 2025)

China’s leader, Xi Jinping, hosted a slew of autocrats for a big military parade in Beijing on Wednesday.

President Trump addressed Xi in a comment about it on Truth Social, which read in part: “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.

“It sounds like somebody’s bummed he wasn’t invited to the supervillain sleepover”  -  JIMMY KIMMEL

“All of Trump’s strongman crushes were there. It felt like it was staged specifically to upset - it was like the diplomatic equivalent of posting a bikini shot to make your ex jealous.” - JIMMY KIMMEL

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/09/05/politics/economy-jobs-report-trump-agenda

And Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick seemed to plead for patience, asking people to judge Trump’s jobs record not today but in 12 months.

“You look at the unemployment rate numbers today – wait until a year from today,” Lutnick said in CNBC. “Wow. It will be amazing numbers.”

But that’s asking a lot. People are already judging Trump’s stewardship of the economy more negatively than ever before. And while Trump arguably earned the benefit of the doubt when his tariffs didn’t lead to immediate and crushing consequences, he still faces a deeply skeptical public and potentially disastrous political consequences.

An interesting read from CNN - basically, the orange buffoon is telling Americans to "just wait" to see the economic benefits of his policies. Unfortunately, people (especially voters) don't tend to be particularly patient.

Trump has two types of memory
  • short term: "What have you done for me today?"

  • long term: "I'll never forget this slight; I'll have my revenge at all costs

His working memory is non-existent: doing mental math or following instructions.
