The party of free speech and anti-cancel culture just cancelled Jimmy Kimmel.

Does the orange buffoon not realise how much this makes him look like a total hypocrite??? Does he even care??? 😠

He hates anything that criticises him? Fine, he can have this:

Muslim Mum podcaster says this Kirk interview was removed from the original YouTube channel. For once the title is accurate. The hosts really do look stunned at Kirk's mention of "ethnic cleansing". Kirk walks it back a tiny bit and adds even more. Kirk also criticizes Netanyahu with more intensity than the video above. Video has a short clip in the intro then the full 'deleted' Kirk interview plays at 1:33 approx.

Warning for atheists and dawkinites ; ) video intro contains Muslim religious evangelism and the Scottish mum host wears a chadoor during the recording.

Despite being a supporter of the state of Israel - Charlie Kirk's antisemitic comments related to Jewish people in general have been noted in Israeli media many times:

FCC Chair Brendan Carr had earlier urged local broadcasters to suspend airing Jimmy Kimmel's program, warning that Kimmel’s comments risked undermining public trust.

Carr wrote the FCC chapter of Project 2025, a conservative agenda blueprint published by the Heritage Foundation.

In that chapter he pushes for reining in Big Tech, limiting Section 230 protections, stricter oversight of Chinese‐tech firms, among other proposals.

Ironically after being tapped by Trump to chair the FCC, Carr said on social media that one of his first goals would be: “We must dismantle the censorship cartel and restore free speech rights for everyday Americans.”

Carr has threatened “consequences” for broadcast media after comments about Trump on The View. He argued for a “course-correction” in media. Nothing ominous in that :(

He opposed reinstatement of net neutrality rules. He has criticized digital discrimination rules and regulatory rules that he sees as over-broad or giving too much power to regulators.

Carr has said that companies seeking regulatory approval (mergers and acquisitions) should eliminate “invidious forms of DEI discrimination.”

He’s opened probes / investigations into the DEI practices of companies like Comcast, Verizon, and others.

Carr has been vocal in support for Elon Musk’s satellite broadband business Starlink. In particular, he criticized an FCC decision to remove/deny a funding award to Starlink as “regulatory lawfare against one of the left’s top targets: Mr. Musk.”

He has challenged YouTube TV over claims of discrimination against faith-based programming. Critics question how much jurisdiction the FCC actually has in those media content decisions.

This article has a bit more of Jimmy Kimmel's comment. Note that copyright laws is chilling attempts from publishing his full transcript.

What exactly did Jimmy Kimmel say about Charlie Kirk that got him fired: ‘We hit some new lows…’: Livemint

I think by "restore free speech rights" he probably meant only Nazis would have a voice.

Disney's ABC pulls 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' off air after remarks about Kirk: Reuters
...
The Walt Disney-owned network’s announcement came hours after Nexstar Media Group, which operates 32 ABC affiliates, said it would no longer broadcast the show.
...
Earlier on Wednesday, FCC Chair Brendan Carr had urged local broadcasters to stop airing "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC. He suggested the commission could open an investigation and that broadcasters could potentially be fined or lose their licences if there was a pattern of distorted comment.

"This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way," Mr Carr said in a podcast interview with conservative Benny Johnson that aired yesterday.

"Disney needs to see some change here, but the individual licensed stations that are taking their content, it's time for them to step up and say this, you know, garbage to the extent that that's what comes down the pipe in the future isn't something that we think serves the needs of our local communities."

Mr Carr praised Nexstar. "While this may be an unprecedented decision, it is important for broadcasters to push back on Disney programming that they determine falls short of community values," he said.

Typical. Once authoritarians take power, all this "freedom" they shout about so much, disappears.

Trump has led a one man campaign against wind power, just because in Scotland offshore wind turbines were visible from his golf course.

Summary of Lazard’s “Levelized Cost of Energy” (2025)

When building new power plants utility-scale onshore wind has among the lowest levelized cost of energy (LCOE), even without subsidies.

Specifically, Lazard estimates onshore wind in the U.S. at about US$0.037 to US$0.086 per kWh depending on location & project scale.

Even though most Republican natural gas combined cycle is cheaper, it's actually more expensive: about US$0.048 to US$0.109/kWh.

Coal, which Trump loves, is again even more expensivee. Nuclear often have higher LCOEs also.

As far as killing birds, immovable objects such as buildings are in the top three highest killers of birds
  • Cats (feral + outdoor pets): ~2.4 billion bird deaths per year in the U.S.

  • Building/window collisions: ~600 million birds per year.

  • Vehicles: ~200 million per year.

  • Power lines: ~25 million per year.

  • Communication towers: ~6.6 million per year.

  • Wind turbines: ~234,000 per year (a tiny fraction compared to the above).
Economic fallout mounts as Trump halts near-finished wind power project

A few things I've seen around the internet today which I feel are pertinent:

First, from The New York Times:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/obama-condemns-horrific-kirk-shooting-but-defends-the-right-to-criticize-the-founder-of-turning-point-usa/ar-AA1MM6h7?cvid=c2bd44dfb54d41a69f12aa1a058dd4a6&ei=9

If you think about it (and I remember when this shooting happened), I don't recall Obama blaming "the radical right" or anyone like this for that awful shooting. Yet it's perfectly fine for the orange buffoon to point the finger - without evidence - at the perceived perpetrator of Kirk's murder ("the radical left") without a shred of proof or evidence, and his idiotic base just laps it up.

How is that meant to bring the country together?

Next: I definitely didn't have this one on my bingo card for today - Tucker Carlson - of all people - criticising Trump and his "administration" for getting Kimmel taken off the air for his comments re Kirk:

I didn't watch all the way to the very end of that Muslim Mum video I posted earlier, until today. Near the end Muslim Mum goes through the Israel conspiracy theory - Netanyahu knew too soon, some private plane flying nearby turned off it's transponder, Kirk was receiving threats from Israel, Robinson was a patsy, and lots more. I'll leave those rabbit holes for someone else.

For 'balance' here's Netanyahu trying to blame ultra-progressives and islamists

Finally, the orange buffoon doing America proud on his visit to the UK:

(I've never met the King, but I thought as a sign of respect you were supposed to sit and listen when he's speaking?)

There are multiple indicators that image is not real. It's worthwhile sourcing and verifying things before reposting.
