Ironic in that he said that - didn't Hitler's generals try and kill him? I don't think he wants generals like that...

I'd say Secretary of Defense war use of makeup pales to his drunkenness, Christian nationalist tattoos, settlement in a sexual-misconduct case, accusations of financial mismanagement in veterans’ advocacy groups he once led.

You'll remember Donald Trump called 6 January a "day of love."

YouTube Settles Trump Lawsuit Over Account Suspension for $24.5 Million: New York Times

YouTube agreed to pay a $24.5 million settlement to President Trump and others who were suspended by the video streaming platform in the wake of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to a legal document filed on Monday.

YouTube froze Mr. Trump’s account after the riot, blocking him from uploading new videos and arguing that the content could lead to more violence. Mr. Trump sued YouTube in October 2021, claiming that it and other social media firms that removed his accounts had wrongfully censored him.

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/574701/us-government-enters-shutdown-as-congress-fails-to-reach-funding-deal

Of course, the orange buffoon blames someone else for anything his government does wrong; in this case - despite Republicans having the Presidency, the Senate and the House this shutdown is (somehow) the fault of the Democrats. However...

The NY Times - The be-careful-what-you-wish-for shutdown

01 Oct 2025

Now that President Trump has a shutdown instigated by Democrats on his hands, his approach could be summed up this way: Be careful what you wish for.

The last thing we want to do is shut it down, but a lot of good can come down from shutdowns,” he said in the Oval Office on Tuesday, as the government funding clock ticked down.

We can get rid of a lot of things that we didn’t want. And they’d be Democrat things.” ...

Trump has the bully pulpit, along with a general disregard for the workaday operations of the federal government and a stated willingness to leverage the shutdown itself to punish his political opponents.

There are “a lot of people that are going to be very affected and they’re Democrats,” Trump said.

The Trump administration has already taken steps to maximize the pain of the shutdown, halting billions of dollars in funds for Democratic-led states while readying a plan to lay off a large number of civil servants.

Although he might think he holds the upper hand in the shutdown, this poll isn't looking good for the orange buffoon and his cronies.

The blame game

The Washington Post - Tracking Trump

today

1. Senior officials warned against firing federal staff during the shutdown.

Why: Laws prevent the government from incurring new expenses during a shutdown, and some officials have suggested that severance payments would thus be prohibited.

2.  The Senate rejected government budget plans and took a day off.

Today: The Senate took a one-day break today in observance of Yom Kippur after failing to pass proposals to extend federal funding yesterday.

More: Around 750,000 federal workers have been furloughed.

3.  Trump said the U.S. is in an ‘armed conflict’ with drug cartels.

Context: The Trump administration’s declaration serves as an attempt at legal cover for the recent attacks in international waters and indicates that the military will continue to carry out such strikes.

4.  The Trump administration canceled nearly $8 billion in clean energy grants.

Yesterday: The Energy Department canceled $7.56 billion in funding for clean energy projects, the latest in Trump’s efforts to reduce spending on green technology.

Y'all gonna love this one

The New Mexico Raging Grannies are disgusted with the crime, incompetence, greed, and sleaze of Trump and his chumps.

For years, the right-wing has been making up lies about Democrats, accusing them without a shred of evidence of paedophilia, when all along Trump was besties with the most notorious paedophile in the world. Now he's in panic mode, trying to cover up his involvement with the paedophilia ring.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
