Why did Trump choose to play Queen's "YMCA" at the 250 year anniversary celebration, instead of the obvious "In The Navy"? Maybe he didn't want to change his signature dance move, the menage a trois branlette: threesome hand job.

Fact check: Trump falsely claims, again, that his pre-9/11 book warned about Osama bin Laden : CNN
...
Trump has been claiming for the last decade that in a book he published the year before the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, he warned the authorities that they needed to deal with Osama bin Laden.

Trump’s claim is false. His 2000 book contained no warning at all about bin Laden. His tale about the book’s nonexistent warning was conclusively debunked in 2015. CNN published another debunking when he revived the tale in 2019.

But the president repeated it once again on Sunday – to a crowd of sailors celebrating the 250th birthday of the US Navy.

This time, Trump delivered the phony narrative after saying history wouldn’t forget how it was Navy Seals who killed bin Laden (in 2011 under then-President Barack Obama, a frequent target of Trump criticism). Trump added, in an apparent ad-lib, “And please remember, I wrote about Osama bin Laden exactly one year ago,” then corrected himself and said, “One year before he blew up the World Trade Center. And I said, ‘You’ve got to watch Osama bin Laden.’ And the fake news would never let me get away with that statement unless it was true.”

It’s not true, as news outlets have pointed out for years.

This from ChatGPT:

There’s no documented, public instance I can find of a U.S. president from the Democratic Party explicitly calling a Republican politician 'Satan' or 'the devil.'

Franklin D. Roosevelt used the phrase “walk with the devil” to describe Stalin.

LBJ’s 1964 campaign ads portrayed Barry Goldwater as dangerously extreme.
"

However there are many, many examples of totalitarianism forms calling the opposition Satan or the devil.

That is a weakness of all American political parties. They have very little idea where they're going until they actually choose a candidate just six or nine months before an election.

The Financial Times - Donald Trump looms large over Nobel Peace Prize  (08 Oct 2025)

Trump’s campaign to secure a Nobel Peace Prize is being greeted with widespread skepticism in Europe.

Nobody has campaigned for a Nobel Peace Prize quite like Donald Trump.

The US president has been brazen and unrelenting in his quest for one of the world’s most prestigious honours, saying it would be a 'big insult' were he not to receive it.

Despite his persistent efforts, many in Oslo believe he has little real chance of claiming the award next week.

Trump has publicly and privately lobbied the Norwegian Nobel Committee, hoping to be named laureate.  But insiders in Norway say his overt requests have done more harm than good.

The previous ceasefire phase one did not develop into an end to the war and an end to displacements, and Netanyahu delivered only a small proportion of the agreed food aid and temporary shelters.

When that short phase was over the situation became many many times worse.

Immense pressure will be required to have this latest ceasefire develop beyond phase one.

I doubt that Trump could care less about Gaza and the Palestinians. He just wants the Peace prize because Obama got it.

We went to a day at our local butcher in Warkworth where we learnt to butcher a lamb, and then made sausages out of the offcuts. It was great, although it turns out I am terrible at linking sausages.

Netanyahu says the phase 1 ceasefire agreement is a win for Israel and its 20 hostages, what about the 67000 that they killed?  All while Trump said to Bibi, yeah go ahead, go after Hamas and 67000 innocents

Now he will take credit, but its deep thanks to Egypt, Qatar and Turkey

Those are also a win for Netanyahu.

Absolutely he will. Decent chance he'll get the peace prize next time. FWIW, Obama didn't really deserve one either IMHO.

I agree Obama didn't deserve his.

But here's some the upcoming phases
  • Gaza becoming “deradicalized terror-free”
  • full return of hostages, alive & deceased within 72 hours of acceptance
  • large prisoner releases
Yeah, mass killing on families is always conducive of deradicalizing. :(

Good luck to Trump before the next Noble Peace prize. This and Ukraine which was promised to be solved in one day, but now is "one day".

A Fragile Opening: Dissecting the High-Stakes U.S. Peace Plan for Gaza: Medium
...
At the heart of this effort is U.S. President Donald Trump’s ambitious 20-point peace plan, presented to Hamas not as an invitation but as an ultimatum: accept the framework or face the prospect that, in Trump’s stark words, “all hell will break loose.”

The central tension of this moment, however, lies in the stark contrast between the plan’s comprehensive vision and the grim realities on the ground, where deep-seated mistrust and conflicting interpretations threaten to collapse the structure before its first bricks are laid.

The entire proposal is built upon a fundamental, and perhaps irreconcilable, contradiction: Hamas’s existential need for political and armed legitimacy versus Israel’s non-negotiable security demand for its complete disarmament.
