2/5 of the Adult population are medically obese,  any form of physical standard is going to be a bar that nearly 1/2 the population wont be able to meet.  so your article is not really a surprise.

"Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey
During August 2021–August 2023, the prevalence of obesity in adults was 40.3%, with no significant differences between men and women"

Another Trump day, another Nazi scandal

Paul Ingrassia was a conservative commentator and right-wing podcaster who became a White House liaison in the Donald Trump administration before being nominated to head the Office of Special Counsel.

Ingrassia withdraws from confirmation hearing after racist texts: Politico

Paul Ingrassia canceled his appearance for a confirmation hearing to lead the Office of Special Counsel, a day after POLITICO reported a slew of racist texts he made to fellow Republicans in a group chat, according to the messages. He was set to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Thursday.
...
Politico reported that Ingrassia made a number of offensive remarks in a text message chain and said ["Martin Luther King Jr was the 1960s George Floyd and his ‘holiday’ should be ended and tossed into the seventh circle of hell where it belongs", and] he had a “Nazi streak”.

Oh yes, I'm fine. I'm just telling myself that there won't be a meaningful Third World War because of a fraudulent gang of sociopaths in this world. I just haven't found the right arguments yet that will convince me beyond doubt. 😁

A few memes I've seen around the place today covering all the current topics:

The protests/the orange buffoon's ongoing quest for a Nobel Peace Price:

Demolishing (a part of) the White House:

^ (God makes a good point here!)

Hypocrisy much?:

And finally, yet another case of "the leopards ate my face!!!" (in this case it's the US buying product from Argentina instead of supporting US farmers):

Trump is a narcissist.

He often lies to manipulate others and maintain control over how he is perceived. His lies don’t have to make logical sense. He will always protect his self-image and serve his personal goals.

He lacks genuine empathy. He doesn’t feel guilt about deceiving others, even when it causes harm. He rationalize all his actions justified.

He might even believe his own lies in the moment to avoid facing the reality that he's doing something destructive. His self-deception helps him maintain his inflated self-image: “I deserve the Nobel Peace prize”.

He thinks the normal rules don’t apply to him. He feel entitled to distort reality if it helps him preserve his superiority or avoid accountability.

So he professes his love of the White House, and wouldn't change anything about it, even while destroying it.

According to the latest calculations, Germany's most important trading partner is now China and no longer the United States. I have no idea whether this was intentional or a good thing; only time will tell. 🤔

edit: Nevertheless, news has just come in that our government is apparently temporarily covering the salaries of US forces stationed here (after all, it is the largest military base outside the United States), which are being withheld due to the US budget shutdown – that's one way MAGA can do it.

But what can you do? Before they start pillaging and looting here while Donald Duck is busy with his solid gold ballroom? 🤣

To avoid directly linking to the Social of Truth there are several sites that mirror Trump's posts. I have not seen an archive with video unfortunately. Maybe I've missed one.

True believers and the uneducated are always that stupid. Pander to the dumb masses. That’s how Trump got in.

No, they are not stupid or pretending in my experience. Supporters of the tariffs believe tariffs will benefit jobs and wages in America. Tariffs are probably having a desired outcome in some cases and very negative outcomes in many cases.

Recent polls indicate support for tariffs is falling as prices continue to rise.
