Sure, Biden had his faults, but I don't think there's much of a comparison here:

Also with the government returning and a new congresswoman (finally) being sworn in, now they can vote on releasing the Epstein Files. Something the orange buffoon has tried to delay - for some reason - for a long, long time:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/nov/12/adelita-grijalva-arizona-swearing-in

Like I said before, if he really had nothing to hide, his conscience should be clear and he should have no problem with the files being released, right?

Right? 🤔

Unfortunately, the walls closing in may just prompt Trump to do a thermonuclear distraction to keep it out of the news.

Megyn Kelly Questions If Jeffrey Epstein Was A Pedophile Because 'He Wasn't Into, Like, 8-Year-Olds'
The MAGA host said she was "not trying to make an excuse" for Epstein — before doing exactly that.

Kelly said the unnamed source told her they didn’t think Epstein was a pedophile, just “into the barely legal type, like, he liked 15-year-old girls.”

She then engaged in a bit of hairsplitting over the definition of pedophilia.

“You can say that’s a distinction without a difference. I think there is a difference. There’s a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old, you know?” she said, before admitting the obvious.

Here we see the orange buffoon's usual tactic of deflect/distract/deny/blame someone else:

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/578942/trump-to-ask-justice-department-to-investigate-jeffrey-epstein-s-ties-to-high-profile-figures

A few things:

- this didn't work when he released the Amelia Earhart files, no one cared about them, they still don't and (frustratingly for him, I bet) it did nothing to stop public demand for the Epstein files

- he still talks in the third person

- he is definitely hiding something, otherwise why put in so much effort to fight this? Why order investigations into everyone else but himself? 🤷‍♂️

- maybe the last word - instead of "run" should be "ruin"? 😀 and

- I didn't know that title at the top was actually the name of a song 😮

The irony of Trump doing after Clinton and other democrats is that Trump was a registered Democrat when most of the Epstein files happened.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Okay, this is something I definitely didn't have on my bingo card for today:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-breaks-with-wacky-marjorie-taylor-greene/ar-AA1QttY2?cvid=41f3d0925add4cd4bb18db47e2567115&ei=8

President Donald Trump has broken with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a staunch long-time ally and prominent MAGA figure who has been at sharp odds with the White House on economic issues, foreign affairs and the case of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump called Greene a “ranting lunatic” and said he was withdrawing his support for her in a social media post late Friday.

The problem is - for Greene, as I see it - is her unwavering loyalty to the orange buffoon is now slipping. If Trump wanted to, he could probably get her kicked out of the Republican Party. Where would she go then? The Democrats wouldn't have a bar of her.

This is the issue with the Republican Party (in its current form, at least) or any party being built around one person and their whims and desires, as opposed to...oh, I don't know, the Constitution or something....if you have a falling out with said person, you could be kissing your political career goodbye, especially with someone as vindictive and petty as Trump.

In a similar vein (and closer to home), think about NZ First - if Winston keeled over tomorrow, would the party continue on for much longer without him? If so, who could possibly step up to the plate to replace him? Shane Jones? Spare me.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out for Greene, and I have a feeling she may not be the first to run counter to Trump's desire for the Epstein files to never be released in full.

But Epstein appears to be the main factor in the breach. Greene and MAGA figures have long called for the government to release files from the investigation, something Trump had also appeared to support until he returned to office.

Gee, I wonder why that was? 🙄

Wasn't Nixons downfall due to "Deep Throat" revelations.

Seems history is repeating its self here.

Richard Nixon resigned from the presidency voluntarily, he submitted his own resignation letter. You could argue it was similar to what most CEO's do: quit before before being fired.

But Trump has the empathy of a female praying mantis eating the head of her lover.

Best case scenario: expect a scene reminiscent of a Karen being ejected off a airplane.

More likely scenario: expect a Trump abusing his power worse than Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Washington Post Jamal Khashoggi criticized Saudi leadership, and was seen as a threat to the Crown Prince’s authority. He was lured to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, killed and dismembered by a Saudi hit team.

Nixon was many times brighter than Trump. Bin Salman is many times brighter than Trump. A female praying mantis is many times brighter than trump. Dog shit on the pavement is brighter than Trump. Trump is just lucky and he has the right enablers. He is easy to mold and that makes him a useful idiot.

Thing is, if the orange buffoon resigns (which he never would - he would probably view that as being "weak" or "a quitter"), James becomes president.

So I don't know which is worse.

MAGA is starting to turn against the orange buffoon re the Epstein situation (as a result of Trump turning against Republicans who are demanding he release the files):
