I am not sure what to call America any more. Democracy doesn't quite seem to fit. Autocracy is closer. Or maybe tyranny?
Idiocracy. 😁

Wiki Kakistocracy
Kakistocracy is government by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous people.
The word was coined as early as the 17th century and derives from two Greek words, kákistos ('worst') and krátos ('rule'), together meaning 'government by the worst people'.
A perfect fit! 🙄

Almost copy & pasted the speech, then realised the whole page is less than 5 min read. Well worth it EVERYBODY.
RIGHT ON TARGET for what's happening in the US of A, led by the White House.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I saw something about this on CNN too, also looking at where things went wrong after it all happened: https://edition.cnn.com/2026/01/06/politics/january-6-anniversary-congress-political-divide
[Donald] Sherman, CREW’s top lawyer, said he believes “every institution that was tasked with holding President Trump accountable for January 6 has failed, except for the Colorado Supreme Court.” (That court ruled that Trump was ineligible for office, but was later overturned by the US Supreme Court.)
“McConnell took a pass. The Biden administration dragged its feet. The Supreme Court bent itself into a pretzel to overturn our victory. Fani Willis had ethical missteps. And Jack Smith ran out of time,” Sherman said.
And this is only the end of year one. Three to go.

From what I have read, mid terms wont have much of an impact either
Yesterday, I watched a live interview with former US Army Europe General Frederick Ben Hodges in the German public TV.
He commented on potential intentions regarding Greenland and described a possible attack on one or more NATO partners as a violation of the American Constitution, which would put commanding officers in a difficult position and prevent them from following orders.
The problem with this, however, is that the Orange One has been shifting the legal situation for some time now, making it increasingly difficult to determine what can be considered a violation of the US Constitution.
…
If they really throw everything overboard, the officers in charge will claim – as the Nazis did – that they were merely following orders (from politicians).

For the benefit of the rest of the world, and when Trump is over, that it takes decades to gain trust, thats good. US will need to rebuild even IF they get a real POTUS. The rest of us gain a lot back over time. But that doesnt help those in the US that died but didnt need to, The Ukrainians and Russians that died but didnt need to (Trump has shown he is happy to launch weapons, but UKR isnt important to him) The "may" reduce the big powers and enable the rest of us

And probably the biggest one: Judge Merchan delayed and delayed and delayed the case so that Trump could still appear on the ballot before he was officially convicted, and then sentenced him to ... unconditional discharge.
Would Trump still be president if Merchan had treated him like he would treat any other conman? I don't know. But Merchan clearly holds a great deal of responsibility for showing Trump that he is above the law.
