I think they will let him paraphrase one last time in Davos in a few hours. The French president has already left because he has more important things to do than listen to the storyteller. Incidentally, he threatened him in a private message with a 200% import duty on champagne and wine because he doesn't want to participate in the ‘Peace Board’. Germany also received an ‘invitation’ like yours 🙄.

Danish pension fund sells off US government bonds

Amidst the dispute over Greenland, the Danish pension fund AkademikerPension plans to sell its entire holdings of US government bonds.

One of the more astounding moments was when Trump spoke about Renee Good, the 37-year-old US citizen shot and killed by an ICE officer in Minneapolis during a protest.

He began by saying ICE could make mistakes, and that he could see “both sides” to the situation – a more nuanced position than most of his administration underlings, who have called Good a “domestic terrorist” and asserted that she had it coming.

But Trump went on to make it all about himself, and imply Good’s death was more tragic because her father was a Trump voter.

“I felt horribly … when I learnt her parents and her father in particular – I hope he still is, but I don’t know – was a tremendous Trump fan,” he said.

I truly believe that if people actually listen to the stuff that Gavin Newsom is saying, they may find that the benefits outweigh the consequences of their actions: i.e. stand up to the bully, call his bluff and direct trade elsewhere to hurt him in the best way possible...financially.
