quickymart: Luckily, the president has no control over elections being run, it's all done by each state. And while he might have a lot of Republicans behind him right now, I'll be very surprised if Democrats (or any Republicans with ethics left in them!) just idly stand by and let him "take over" the running of elections.

Yes, Congress only passed a spending bill because the Democrats voted in favour in exchange for some promises on ICE behaviour as I understand it.

But, as you remember last time, Trump was very nearly successful because he relies on threats and unconstitutional behaviour. "Find me 10,000 votes" and when that failed enormous pressure on the vice president Mike Pence to ignore the result and certify a bogus result.

Trump has already succeeded in significant intimidation for the upcoming elections. Voter turnout is likely to significantly reduce in some areas. Trump will claim that as a great success.

Sadly yes, and then the orange buffoon will gleefully boast that he's getting rid of "election fraud" 🙄

Epstein was some kind of financial manager for high net worth individuals. Donald Trump during the 2024 election promised to release Epstein's client list. So far I don't recall any significant information about the money or sources of money Epstein was managing.

Article: [Trump] added: "Get ready Noah, I'm going to have some fun with you!"

That is creepy as. I'm going to say it: Trump always goes KKK when speaking to black people. That's just a fact.

The NY Times - ‘Don Colossus,’ a Golden Statue of President Trump, Waits for Its Home

03 Feb 2026

It’s known as “Don Colossus.”

At 15 feet tall, the statue of President Trump, mounted on its 7,000-pound pedestal, is about the height of a two-story building - a giant effigy cast in bronze and finished with a thick layer of gold leaf.

For more than a year, the golden statue has been at the center of one of the stranger moneymaking ventures of the Trump era.

A group of cryptocurrency investors paid $300,000 to have a sculptor create it as a tribute to Mr. Trump, an outspoken crypto proponent.

“It’s so bright and beautiful” ...  😐

Jaws drop at Trump DOJ prosecutor's 'unbelievable' courtroom admission: 'This job sucks'

An assistant U.S. attorney in the Trump administration made an admission to a Minnesota federal judge in open court on Tuesday that left legal experts open-mouthed.

According to FOX9's Paul Blume, when U.S. District Judge Jerry Blackwell pressed DOJ lawyer Julie Le why the Trump administration, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, are ignoring so many court orders, Le replied that "the system sucks, this job sucks" — and went on to ask Blackwell to hold her in contempt of court, just so she could get 24 hours of sleep after having to argue dozens upon dozens of habeas cases in recent weeks.

Trump Lawyer BREAKS DOWN In Court

"A Trump administration assistant U.S. attorney stunned a federal judge after admitting in open court that the system is failing and even asking to be held in contempt just to get some sleep, sparking outrage and disbelief among legal experts nationwide.

Farron Cousins discusses this."

Jeez, another shouting American. I can't listen to this even if he is on our side. Why can't those people learn to speak normally?

It occurs to me to wonder, what happens when pigeons desecrate this golden calf god? Or maybe it will become a target for drones carrying toilet waste. So many possibilities.

Were Christins not warned about Idols, and false Prophets, like if you say you are Christian on your high horse ?
Why so many fall over themselves to deify Trump.

Well over 71 million Americans wanted to never vote again, and looks like they will get their wish.
A substantial number did not vote so did not care.

Looks like USA education system and charter schools produce such good results
ACT wants us to copy.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/steve-bannon-calls-for-trump-to-deploy-ice-and-military-troops-to-polling-sites/ar-AA1VG2KU?cvid=1d07e3cc13364d1b9041cfe2c52860ec&ei=19

Great. So now Republicans want to "nationalise" voting - which is not what the Constitution permits - and Steve Bannon wants to deploy ICE thugs to voting booths?

“We’re going to have ICE surround the polls come November. We’re not going to sit here and allow you to steal the country again,” Bannon said Tuesday on his podcast. “And you can whine and cry and throw your toys out of the pram all you want, but we will never again allow an election to be stolen.”

Here comes voter intimidation and/or people just not turning up to vote for fear of being arrested by ICE while waiting in line to vote 😠

Can this grifting loser not just disappear into irrelevance? Why does the orange buffoon even keep him around? It must simply be because he tells him what he wants to hear 🙄

There's christians, and those that espouse to be christian. I would say that most of those who deify Trumo, as you put it, are in the second category. If you watch the video of the Republican senator berating his fellow Republican senators it seems that many people publically "support" Trump while privately saying the opposite.  The public deifying is "convenient" for many I suspect.

The substantial number of voter abstainees is no different to here.

I'm not sure our education system with or without charter schools is substantially any better.
