The Bulwark has a good analysis on the attacks, and why they might be happening right now:
Trump has made clear, though, that unlike Midnight Hammer, these attacks are not designed just to incapacitate Iran’s nuclear program. He intends them to topple the regime. The optimal time to do that might have been mid-January, when the largest protests since the fall of the Shah in 1979 seemed to destabilize the regime—until it responded with massive violence, effectively quashing them. (The protests restarted this week, but not on the scale of last month.)
Pin point....so they intended to hit a school ?
All of this is the distract from the Trump/Epstein files nd prep the way to cancel the mid terms
It was never about negotiation. It was never about the Iranian people. It's about deflection, hubris and oil
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Eight minutes.
That’s the length of President Trump’s social media video announcing his war with Iran. He didn’t go to Congress. He didn’t obtain a U.N. Security Council resolution.
Instead, he did perhaps the most monarchical thing he’s done in a monarchical second term: He simply ordered America into war. ...
In 1848, at the close of the Mexican-American War, a first-term congressman named Abraham Lincoln wrote:
"Kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good of the people was the object. This, our convention understood to be the most oppressive of all kingly oppressions and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us."
Those words were true then, and they’re true now. No matter what he thinks, Trump is not a king. But by taking America to war all on his own, he is acting like one.

Indeed.

Also...

Ironic indeed!
Interesting to read Canadian PM Mark Carney’s official statement on this.
he’s certainly never been and probably never will be a Trump fan or even a moderate supporter of his.
Long story short: fully supports the decision to invade/bomb/attack Iran.
I wonder what was supposedly coming - there must have been some credible reports of potential harm coming America’s way, I feel. North America as opposed to the USA in isolation.
Trying to read between the lines, when we have a world leader who is normally so vociferously opposed to anything Trunp does or says, being quite supportive of this.

And I'm 100% certain that this time, definitely, for sure, no taksies-backsies, that the Republican congress will absolutely impeach and convict him and rid the world of his stupid grinning toad face and make him work McDonalds at minimum wage for the rest of his life to prove to him once and for all that he is not, in fact, a king.

Dream on - Donald would be worse than useless at McDonalds. 🙃
Yeah, that's the point. He gets some perfectly good fries thrown in his face by an angry customer (with any luck, they will be a black woman), and then fired by his 19 year old manager for incompetence at making bad fries and then not being able to clean up properly. Now he can't make rent for his two room walk up bedsit apartment on the 8th floor. Oh noes. That is fitting punishment for Donald Trump.
