I feel like many liberals, I don't care whether an adult cross-dresses, or even dresses as a furry. What consenting adults do in private is not the public’s business. Cross‑dressing itself is not inherently scandalous.

Given Trump's quotes below, he matches conservatives' views as men could only cross-dress as tragic unless, it's Halloween, fraternity hazing, or the rare public mocking / spectacle. Conservatives usually show discomfort with gender‑nonconforming behavior

Previous Kristi Noem controversies describe shooting her dog in a gravel pit in her own memoir. She was widely mocked for “cosplay”‑style DHS ads. Her DHS ad campaign cost well over $200 million in taxpayer funds.

I intentionally chose Fox News are the outlet, as it best matches Trump's opinions.

Kristi Noem, Trump respond to shocking cross-dressing photos tied to her husband: Fox News

President Donald Trump reacted on Tuesday after newly released photos appeared to show the husband of former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem cross-dressing in private messages to a number of women.

The images were allegedly part of a trove of hundreds of messages sent between Noem's husband, Bryon, and three women, obtained by The Daily Mail.
...
Trump told the Daily Mail he did not know about the photos and was surprised the Noem family confirmed their authenticity.

"They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that's the case, that's too bad," Trump told the outlet. "I haven't seen anything. I don't know anything about it. That's too bad, but I just know nothing about it."
...
Markwayne Mullin was sworn in as Homeland Security Secretary last week after Kristi Noem's March 5 ousting.

Kristi Noem is currently serving as special envoy to the Shield of the Americas.
...
In a statement to The Post, a spokesperson for Kristi Noem said she was "devastated" by the discovery.

"The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time," the spokesperson said.
...
While the couple has been married for more than 30 years, Fox News previously reported rumors of an alleged affair between Kristi Noem and her top advisor, Corey Lewandowski, contributed to her dismissal from the DHS post.

https://www.umass.edu/news/article/president-trumps-approval-sinks-33-new-umass-poll

Okay, this is only one poll - but if this number is accurate, he's polling even lower than at the end of his first term (34%) - and that's even after January 6.

How low can it go? 🤔

Though that's a rock hard base of 33%, and Americans being Americans.

All it takes is a host of billionaires to buy social media.
They pretty much have control of much of old media now anyways.

Just ask Joe Rogan his price and offer 4 hour interviews with many rich and famous.

They were able to believe that Kamala was a radical, warmongering communist, dare I say AntiChrist.
I'm pretty sure they 'Want to Believe' again.

Podcasters will suddenly have more important things to talk about like 'AntiChrist Hunting' they will all be falling over themselves.

Never underestimate America.

Does it matter, though? I don't exactly see any Republicans calling for his impeachment. Lose the midterms? Fake news, election was rigged, I won it more bigly than anyone has ever won anything. Doesn't care what Congress thinks, does whatever he wants anyway, Supreme Court allows it.

Main thing is if the Republicans lose the House in the midterms (a very real possibility - the Senate is a tougher ask though) there's a good chance the orange buffoon will face impeachment almost every week for the rest of his term.

He may say publicly he doesn't care about that sort of thing, but deep down he very much does.

Trump: “I’m so busy that I don’t have time to do this, but – I’m fighting wars and other things, but this is very important, because this is going to be with us for a long time,” he told reporters aboard Air Force One Sunday evening, adding, “I think it’ll be the greatest ballroom anywhere in the world.”

Trump to English: "Damn! Just like the casino! Why can't I make Daddy proud!"

Judge rules that White House ballroom construction ‘has to stop!’:CNN
...
“The President of the United States is the steward of the White House for future generations of First Families. He is not, however, the owner!” Judge Richard Leon wrote.
...
The crux of the issue, Leon concluded in his decision, was that Trump had not received approval from lawmakers to undertake the bold construction project, which he said was required by federal law.

There once was a crook in a chair,
Who gobbled up more than his share,
Till voters one day
Said, “You’re out. Go away!”
And dragged Trump out gasping for air.

The scratches he left on the wall
Now hang in a government hall.
Tourists snap with glee,
“Wow! History!”
A crooked mark that tops them all.

Or perhaps this "hell and brimfire sermon"

Hear me now, beloved!
A devil named Trump sat in a mighty chair,
Trump's tiny hands grabbing, taking more than his portion,
Even the windmills trembled at his grasp,
and the oceans ran foul with his pride.

Congregation: Lord, keep us humble!

But the people rose up, voices like rolling thunder,
and they declared:

“ENOUGH!”

Congregation: Enough!

They pulled Trump from that seat of power,
and the Republicans gasped as the truth met them.
A wind hotter than the flames of judgment!

And the walls, oh, the walls,
they still bear the scratches of Trump's clinging,
like the scars of sin written in stone.

Congregation: Mercy!

Now those marks hang in a public hall,
and travelers point and cry:

“Behold! History!”

Congregation: History!

A crooked mark, a warning to all
when Trump clutched power tighter than duty,
for the fires of justice do not slumber,
and the Lord will not be mocked!

Congregation: Amen! Amen! Hallelujah!

Note I’m an atheist. I don’t support any religious faction in the Iran war, not Christian nationalists in the U.S., not Shia clerics in Iran, not the Israeli religious nationalists. Don’t read my criticism as taking a religious side.

I reject all religious justifications for war, no matter which country they come from.

I do blame the US and Israeli leaders for starting the war. The articles below are about the god of war and self-proclaimed "Christian", Pete Hegseth

Both from the Independent.

Hegseth prays at Pentagon service for ‘overwhelming violence’ against enemies

The defense war secretary, Pete Hegseth, prayed during a religious service at the Pentagon that there be “overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy”.

The Christian worship service was Hegseth’s first since the Iran war began
...
“Let every round find its mark against the enemies of righteousness and our great nation,”

The remarks came a day after Hegseth announced changes to the military’s chaplain corps, which he said in a video message had been “infected by political correctness and secular humanism” until they were “watered down” to be “nothing more than therapists” who focused more on “self-help and self-care” than faith or virtue.
...
Hegseth instituted monthly prayer sessions at the Pentagon during his tenure, though all of the prayer meetings have been presided over by evangelicals
...
Pope seems to rebuke Hegseth in remarks about leaders with ‘hands full of blood’

Pope seems to rebuke Hegseth in remarks about leaders with ‘hands full of blood’
Pontiff’s unusually pointed comments come after US defence secretary’s prayer for violence against enemies ‘who deserve no mercy’

Pope Leo has said God ignores the prayers of leaders who wage war and have “hands full of blood”, in an apparent rebuke to the Trump administration.
...
The pope said the conflict between Iran, Israel and the US was “atrocious” and that Jesus could not be used to justify war.

“This is our God: Jesus, king of peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war,” he told tens of thousands of worshippers. “He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them.”

Quoting a Bible passage, Leo added: “‘Even though you make many prayers, I will not listen: your hands are full of blood.’”
...
The pope cited a Bible passage in which Jesus upbraided a disciple who used a sword to try to repel soldiers who came to arrest him. Jesus did not arm himself or fight, the pope said. “He revealed the gentle face of God, who always rejects violence. Rather than saving himself, he allowed himself to be nailed to the cross.”

It would not surprise me if it was his first ever by the sound of it.

Also - another promise he made looks set to be broken: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cje47jk49k0o

The Supreme Court appeared sceptical of President Donald Trump's executive order limiting birthright citizenship, a sign the high court could strike down a key element of his immigration agenda.

A majority of the court's justices on Wednesday seemed unconvinced that the US should stop granting citizenship to children of undocumented immigrants and some temporary US visitors.

Army helicopter pilots who flew unsanctioned tribute flight to salute hardcore Trump supporter Kid Rock suspended then reinstated. Hegseth cancels the investigation saying “No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, Patriots,”

The NY Times - Opinion - The People Trump Pardoned Are on a Crime Spree  (unlocked link)

March 31, 2026

The Constitution grants sweeping pardon powers to the president, which means that public opinion has historically been the only check on that power. The risk of a backlash is the reason that presidents have waited until their last days in office to issue many pardons and commutations, especially dubious ones ...

President Trump has abandoned this approach. His self-serving pardons are so numerous that public attention cannot keep up with them. It is a version of the strategy that his former adviser Steve Bannon has described as “flood the zone”: Do so much so fast that people cannot follow the consequences.

He has created a veritable pardon industry, in which people with White House connections accept payments from wealthy convicts. ...

Worst of all, Mr. Trump granted clemency on the first day of his second term to everyone who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. He did not distinguish between rioters who were relatively peaceful and those who attacked police officers, as Vice President JD Vance said should be the case. About 1,500 Jan. 6 rioters received a clean slate, regardless of their actions.

The results have been disastrous. At least 12 of the pardoned rioters have since been charged with other serious crimes, including child molestation, assault, harassment, and murder plots ...
