  • US president Donald Trump says Operation Freedom - guiding ships through the Strait of Hormuz - has stopped as the US and Iran try to finalise a deal.

The deal has been every week or more, forces shares and oil up and down weekly it seems. All via his utterings, not reality

The Washington Post - Court releases purported suicide note from Jeffrey Epstein

breaking

A federal judge ordered the release on Wednesday of a purported suicide note written by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that had been kept under court seal for years as controversy persisted over his 2019 death in custody while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

“They investigated me for months - FOUND NOTHING!!,” the note reads, adding that the allegations dated back years.

“It is a treat to be able to choose one’s time to say goodbye,” the note continues. “Watcha want me to do - Bust out cryin'!!  NO FUN - NOT WORTH IT!!”

Epstein’s former Manhattan correctional center cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, said he originally discovered it in July 2019 - weeks before Epstein’s death.

EDIT

AlterNet - Epstein’s Purported Suicide Note Reads Like a Trump Post

A federal judge has released a purported suicide note from Jeffrey Epstein, and the internet immediately noticed something.

The spelling errors. The capitalizations. The multiple exclamation points. The aggrieved insistence that investigators found NOTHING.

If you have spent any time reading Truth Social posts, you may have experienced a brief and deeply unsettling sense of recognition. ...

No court or investigative agency has vouched for its authenticity.  ...

At this point, the only thing everyone agrees on is that Jeffrey Epstein is dead.

Trump won the election and made over four billion since then. It's all going as planned. There's nothing wrong with that promise folks that's a four billion dollar promise.

Robert F Kennedy Jr. hard at work again - an epidemic of newborn infant bleeding:

CNN: Although it is not a vaccine, the vitamin K shot has been swept up in the same post-pandemic tide that has led to a drop in key childhood vaccines, including for measles and whooping cough. - β€œI’ve never said, literally never said, anything about it,” Kennedy said.- β€œThat’s exactly the point,” responded Schrier, who is a doctor. β€œYou don’t say anything about it, but the doubt you’ve created about all of medicine and science is causing parents to make dangerous decisions.”

What more can anyone say about RFK's sick attitude except Genesis 4:9.

So by inference the Whitehouse is saying that we can't say bad things about Trump, while it's OK for him to hurl vitriolic comments at anyone he doesn't like.

Sorry, Donnie, I don't think spending taxpayer money to put up banners telling everyone how much you love yourself is going to make anyone in DC like you - from memory last election you got something pathetic like 4% of the vote in the whole place πŸ€”

That statue looks like it weighs less than the real Trump. And I say that as a bona-fide fatarse myself.

Maybe not exactly "years" ago but still...12 months waiting for a phone that's never been received by any buyer, at all? I personally would have done a chargeback myself ages ago...but fortunately I'm not enough of a sucker to buy something with his name on it expecting to actually get anything πŸ˜‰

So apparently Trump knows the bible better than the pope, because of course he does.

My reading of Romans 13 is that it was written in the time of ancient Rome, and back then it was not a democracy, and open rebellion was not an viable option. You were more likely to become entertaining cat food.

In the middle ages in Europe, the crowned heads of Europe all came under the Pope in Rome, until they didn't, for example Henry VIII decided to opt out of that arrangement.

In the US it is "we the people" that elect the government, not any supernatural being.

I expect that Trump just thinks that bars in Rome cater for bigger groups of diners that in Corinth.
