All of 500 people turned up to his thing? That's pretty pathetic. It's not even 1% of the population! Yet he thinks he speaks for "everyone" - so where was everyone then, Briiiiiiiiiiiaaaaan???

I note it also dispersed before 3 o'clock - and most of the media coverage was quite amusingly around the counter-protest. Awesome! 😀

https://www.stuff.co.nz/southland-times/129634894/protest-convoy-to-parliament-off-to-a-quiet-start-with-just-three-vehicles

Wowee-wow-wow! A whole 3 cars from Southland! LOL, I bet they're shaking in their boots at Parliament. And I note that none of the protestors are planning to go to Wellington, anyway.

Bets on how many people are going to turn up to this ridiculous protest? 40? 50?
It won't be the February occupation all over again, that's for sure.

I wouldn't be so sure.

I wouldn't put it past these idiots to try something like showing up early and getting a foothold. They've been banging on about this one for a long long time.

I feel for Welly GZers out there but if you can work from home this week, give it a crack.

All the news reports I've seen so far indicate turnout is quite low this time around.

Authorities in Wellington closing a few roads around parliament to prevent a repeat of the parking chaos these muppets caused last time.  Allows buses and drivers to plan ahead so hopefully will be minimal disruption.  Still a pain in the .... though.

I do wish they could put a permanent padlock on the gate of this clownfarm.  I guess we need to tolerate it for the sake of democracy.

1000? That might be a bit of a stretch - but still way, way less than February's waste of time.

I'm all good with them protesting, but history has shown they are not there to protest "in good faith" as the previous protest has shown they are prepared to threaten anyone who doesn't align to their world view.

The best way to describe was covered back in the first protest.

And equally.. "If you are at a protest and someone is holding up a white nationalist flag and no one is making any efforts to eject this person from the protest... you are at a white nationalist protest."

That reminds me of a line I heard a while ago: what do you get when you have a Nazi having lunch at a table with 10 other people? 11 Nazis.

So the march to Parliament is now happening, behind a 'Government Must Go' banner.

Interesting that there is no specific government or leader mentioned, which further reinforces my theory that these people are just throwing a tantrum because they don't like the idea of being told to do something they don't want to do.

"Our country is in crisis"

"Freedom now"

"Government must go"

These puppets don't know how free they are.

In other countries if they tried this, they would quite possibly be shot, on the spot. Do they not understand this?

Really, if Briaaaaaaaaan hates it here that much, there is nothing stopping him leaving - he has a tonne of (grifted) money already!

Tamaki is speaking against Te Pati Maori. Tamaki is wrong. The Maori Party opposed vaccine mandates based on concerns around employment:

https://www.1news.co.nz/2021/11/16/te-pati-maori-want-vaccine-mandates-abolished/

Tamaki is saying if you oppose or opposed mandates you can't vote for anyone in the parliament - only Tamaki. Surprise surprise and he's wrong.
