Also what is going on with Shane Jones and his hat? He looks like a rejected Blues Brother.
Rikkitic:
News things keep emerging. I was referring to the mental health aspects. That should not be an issue here. The other matter certainly could be.
Yes, sending photos of sexual nature to women is a good look for National MPs...

Walker behaved like a total prat once he was found out. Bringing in a QC to bully your own party isn't the actions of someone with any sort of integrity.
Mullers (and Kaye and Adams) failings dealing with this were fairly manifest (he didn't convince Walker to resign it was Rachel Bird, the National Party’s Southern Regional Chair) but also largely irrelevant now as he is no longer the leader.

I sometimes wonder why Muller even bothered to have a crack at the job. Maybe he thought it would be different if he was running the show, as opposed to Bridges?

Given the alleged behaviour of Falloon I'd say that this is more serious than getting rid of deadwood.
Sending porno images to a schoolgirl - pretty bad.
Using "personal grief" over death of a friend as a reason or excuse or whatever in a resignation letter?
Who the hell do these kind of people think they are?
It's getting worse. Now it's "my mates took my phone and sent porn from it"
Seriously? If it was your (idiot) mates why did you resign? It's good that National is all about personal responsibility.

What a bunch of muppets.

And also his grief blah blah would also have nothing to do with this on his version of events. But hey everything has been handled swiftly and decisively according to our usual National fanbois.
The good old excuse when someone posts a racist tirade on Twitter (over weeks, months or years): "Someone hacked my account!"

Which is derived from "I was misquoted."
Incidentally this is why journos ask the same question 10 different ways - it's hard to say you are misquoted when you have to answer multiple times.
Also, if Judith Collins knew the actual reason of his resignation and used the "mental health" excuse... She's is really a piece of work.

I'm confident you can omit the "if" and it'll be a factual statement.
Anybody thinking she's changed her spots - from decades of history of doing what she does - is dreaming.

As this mess gets worse I think it's most likely she's been lied to by this creep around the circumstances and his health.
Seems possible or likely.
I don't like to see "mental health issues" used as a cover-all excuse for inappropriate behaviour as if they are genuinely not knowing the difference between right and wrong. Most people with genuine mental illness don't behave like that.
Being an MP is "public service", if some people are seeking public service positions of "authority" to gain some personal advantage over others, they need to be weeded out. Aaron Gilmore was another classic example of one who got through.
I am also annoyed by this. When I first saw the item, I was hyper-cautious about discussing it because of the mental health aspect. He may well have a mental health issue but it seems to have been misused to try to deflect.
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos
I am not buying into any of Collins' and National Party's explanations. They have way too much of a history/pattern of dirty politics. Say what one will about Ardern -- she's well and truly (and smartly) kept her head entirely above the fray on this.

Why stop your enemy when they are doing something wrong?
