So far this appears to be about Tamaki being the hero/martyr and boosting his wife’s extremely slim political chances. At least all of the loopy/conspiracy theorist parties are joining under one umbrella, makes it easier to ignore them when voting.

The 'court' is in session now. What a joke.

I wonder what the reception would be if someone set up a court outside a Destiny Church on a Sunday with the Tamaki’s charged with fraud and theft for fleecing their members for so many years.

Someone has very smartly figured out the best way to let these idiots make idiots of themselves is to let them have their moment.

The depressing thing is our votes are all worth the same.

gzt: Tamaki is speaking against Te Pati Maori. Tamaki is wrong. The Maori Party opposed vaccine mandates based on concerns around employment:

https://www.1news.co.nz/2021/11/16/te-pati-maori-want-vaccine-mandates-abolished/

Tamaki is saying if you oppose or opposed mandates you can't vote for anyone in the parliament - only Tamaki. Surprise surprise and he's wrong.

So much for my "freedom" to vote for who I like? What happened to that freedom?

They are, but there are 5 million normal people here and just a few k of ultra radicals getting their picture in the paper, or in this case marketing for more tithe giving followers.

I hear people there are just getting bored now.

Long way to travel to hear a bigoted grifter speak, when you can probably see him for free every Sunday and hear him say (basically) the same thing.

How many votes does he expect to capture anyway? Not nearly enough to make any difference at all (thank Christ).

Edit: update, people are slowly trickling away. What a pointless waste of time that was. At least it's not going to be February all over again, I guess.

I feel like drawn out failure through sheer tedium is a fitting end.

Now arrest him again.

Too. much. LOL.

I don't see these clowns being kingmaker at the next election. Hell, even Billy TK only got about 20,000 votes - not near enough to do any "damage" at all.

Dont worry about it. Lets look at a graph. 5M vs maybe 2k. Yet the news is views views and more views. Having said that, GV is right more tedium and disappear. I was checking news today, what I saw was Nelson and Stuff quiz

I'm relived there was no attempts to camp overnight, and the whole protest they just looked like idiots.

freitasm: The 'court' is in session now. What a joke.

Speaking of courts in session, good to see these two being asked some serious questions:

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/129721701/farright-media-hosts-in-court-over-alleged-distribution-of-objectionable-publication

Judging (no pun intended) by their behaviour being described in the article this case could test the judge's patience.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
