The murderer/rapist and the vandal are obviously horrible people.

In the case of the murderer, if if there was religious motive, it appears it was secondary to road rage. My guess was the rape was a crime of convenience.

I take is the offender wasn't muslim and so it happens whether you're muslim or not - the correlation I see being those that commit these crimes are all homo sapiens.
