So the prince is an evil rotten human being. He is also a snivelling coward who gets others to do his dirty work and doesn't have the balls to man up when caught. Some people just shouldn't be princes. Am I going to have an unfortunate accident now?
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos
this has been going on since the beginning of time, in any country, not just Saudi
I'll give you one example

Tape transcripts released now.
Yup and what does the world do? Continue to do business with Saudi (and everyone else). Money talks.
I reckon there is a place in spying. Without spying we would not have had obtained this evidence.
Seems Jamil Khashoggi is all but forgotten
Batman:

Yes add that apparently Saudi Arabia gave Khashoggi's four children "million-dollar houses" and "monthly five-figure payments" as compensation for the killing of their father, I wonder if they rewarded the state sanctioned murders the same?

Batman: No they sentenced the killers to death. Guessing by beheading?
My understanding is that 5 were charged and could face the death penalty but that has not occurred
Note Agnes Callamard, the United Nations special rapporteur on extrajudicial executions, has criticized the Saudi Arabian investigation into the killing of journalist and said there has been no accountability (well so far)

Are the 5 charged the ones responsible? Or just 5 inconvenient people to pin the blame on?
Batman: I would hope so but no I didn't cross check. Thing is, what does the world do? Continue doing business with and protect Saudi. Eg after the drone strikes, the whole world is wanting to punish Iran on Saudi's behalf. US citizenship means nothing.
No the whole world is not wanting to punish Iran for example the EU were not happy the US unilaterally reneged on the Nuclear deal
I could even say the US is increasingly (over time) distancing itself from the Saudi regime: less dependence on their oil and a particular dislike for Bin Salman amongst many Snr US politicians. One recent catalyst being the Khashoggi murder...
I said back in October 2018:
I'll sleep well tonight knowing that Justice will prevail in this case. Oh wait: that'd be inconvenient for trade, wouldn't it?
I'm sure the good people of the Saudi govt will find a scapegoat or three to take the rap.
Big surprise, they found some convenient scape goats, held a kangaroo court and will execute them while the real puppet master gets away scott free.
(Ok, not entirely scott free, I hear his feelings were hurt.)
Unfortunately a predictable outcome
From the BBC news item here which imho sums it up well in this one line
"...And yet Saudi Arabia, with its vast oil wealth and allies in the White House, will doubtless be expecting that any outrage will soon give way to business as usual"

Yes one would argue the guilty are sentenced to death not for the murder but for bringing the prince into ill repute which hurt his feelings...
