The features were one of Sinclair’s now infamous “must-run” segments, consisting of conservative commentary that every Sinclair-owned station is required to air.

Just maybe Trump has a point when he says seven trillion dollars spent in the Middle East over 17 years & nothing to show for it for the USA?  (Of course the 7 trillion figure would need to be fact checked..)    Anyway, that seven trillion had it been spent on say fast rail links, airports, electricity grids, motorways, housing, health, would have been a lot better for the people living in the USA.   The Dems and Repubs could have gotten their usual bribes from the above contractors instead of the military contractors.

Just think how many friends instead of enemies they would have gained in the Middle East spending that money building schools, hospitals etc rather than killing and maiming the mainly innocent populations of those countries.

However, Trump has significantly increased funding for the US military - which negates his attempt at point scoring BS.

The other side to this is that for the US, the cost is measured in money but few of their own lives.  Since Vietnam, they've been rather good at killing without being killed.

You'd hope for someone extremely trustworthy in charge of such formidable killing power - and look what we've got.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Donald J. Trump is “scared to death” that the 2020 Presidential election will be decided by Americans, an aide to Trump has confirmed.

The aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that Trump is panicking over a doomsday scenario in which Americans, sidelined during the 2016 election, play a dominant role in influencing the 2020 contest.

“It sounds paranoid, but, as we speak, representatives of the United States are already plotting to remove him from office in 2020,” the aide said. “They are determined to replace him with someone who takes a more favorable view toward their country.”

The aide said that the Americans, frustrated by Trump’s open hostility to the United States since taking office, will “stop at nothing” to achieve their ultimate goal: installing an agent of the U.S. in the Oval Office.

“It’s pretty clear what the Americans are up to,” the aide said. “They want a puppet who will do the bidding of the United States of America.”

While Trump has reportedly ordered his staff to do everything in its power to prevent Americans from meddling in the 2020 election, the prospect of U.S. nationals deciding the next Presidential race has clearly left the White House rattled.

“Americans are going to use voter registration, social media, and anything else at their disposal to hand the election to someone who will advance their interests,” he said. “That’s what keeps Trump up at night.”

Will We Stop Trump Before It’s Too Late?

Fascism poses a more serious threat now than at any time since the end of World War II.

At one time or another, Mr. Trump has attacked the judiciary, ridiculed the media, defended torture, condoned police brutality, urged supporters to rough up hecklers and - jokingly or not - equated mere policy disagreements with treason.
He tried to undermine faith in America’s electoral process through a bogus advisory commission on voter integrity.
He routinely vilifies federal law enforcement institutions.
He libels immigrants and the countries from which they come.
His words are so often at odds with the truth that they can appear ignorant, yet are in fact calculated to exacerbate religious, social and racial divisions.
Overseas, rather than stand up to bullies, Mr. Trump appears to like bullies, and they are delighted to have him represent the American brand.
If one were to draft a script chronicling fascism’s resurrection, the abdication of America’s moral leadership would make a credible first scene.

I'm not religious.

Well, maybe I'm an atheist with a slight tilt toward agnosticism.

But if I was religious, and truly believed in God, I'd also have to believe in the Devil.

And I'd have no trouble with that because He's alive, well, and thriving in the most influential position in the most influential country in the world.

There should be no doubt about this, in anyone's mind: Trump is a truly EVIL B*****D.

At a time when the world needs an exemplary leader - we have this...creature.

God help America.
