Why run? As long as you can take them out with a shotgun if they go crazy, I don't care. :-)

I suspect a good tyre iron would get it done.

Just say to them: 'This statement is a lie'.

Two articles from "The Verge"

The Verge: Tesla reportedly doesn’t have enough desks after Musk threatens to fire remote employees

Even if they could sit down, the Wi-Fi signal was too weak to work

The Verge: SpaceX firings likely violate US labor law, experts say

On Friday, SpaceX fired a group of employees involved in crafting an open letter to corporate leaders that criticized CEO Elon Musk — and labor lawyers now say the firings may have violated US labor law. The letter circulated Thursday calling for stronger anti-harassment policies at SpaceX and a more restrained Twitter presence from Musk. At least five employees were fired shortly after the letter was published.

It’s unclear whether any of the fired employees will try to file suit with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). But if they do, lawyers say they will have a strong case. “To be covered, an action has to be concerted (certainly the case here) and it has to relate to working conditions,”...

A look at Tesla's utility battery business replacing fossil generator peak plants in USA:

Quartz: Tesla built its biggest battery installation ever in April, which will help California power utility Pacific Gas and Electric replace natural gas plants it plans to phase out starting in 2023. Later this year, Tesla will build its second and third biggest-ever battery projects to shut down the last coal plant in Hawaii and help replace one of the most carbon-polluting coal plants in New Mexico.

Musk goes nine days In a row without a tweet. Personally I hope he's getting some quality sleep. Prolonged sleep deficits are not a good thing.

Maybe he's just working on his product improvements? Then it can take longer ;-)

Or the union at his brand new car factory here in Germany kidnapped him. :-)

Washington Post: Elon Musk Isn’t the Only One to Blame for the Twitter Mess

...It is all in keeping with the nature of this deal from the start. Remember how Musk filed (late) as a passive investor in Twitter despite having been in talks with the company’s management according to its own chief executive officer, then got offered a board seat only to reject it?

Remember how he declared early on that he would “defeat the spam bots or die trying” only to then cite the spam bots as an insurmountable obstacle?

Or perhaps you recall that he led with a “best and final offer” after seemingly the most cursory of due diligence efforts, which some might characterize as bold but others as just rash and a bit odd?
...
Perhaps more absurd was Twitter founder, former chairman and CEO Jack Dorsey’s declaration that Musk was the “singular solution” to the problem, in Dorsey’s eyes, of the platform being both a “public good” and a company. For good measure, he added: “I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.”

Too bad Musk’s commitment to that mission failed for want of a Goldman Sachs spreadsheet, I guess.

It probably doesn't help that he actually has cults following him... one thing that absolutely drives me insane (my first choice for word there isn't FUG-friendly) about this thread is the "or god" in the title. No. He's a bloody human, nothing more. Not even a good one.

22 minute video called "Elon Musk Pulls Out" by Legal Eagles.

"If Elon Musk is in the news, it's for one of three reasons.

He's announcing a Tesla product, that will never materialize.

He announcing the existence of another child.

Or he's pretending to buy another company and then backing out.

Tesla doesn't have any new products.

He's up to 10 kids, that we know of.

So Elon Musk now wants to back out of his purchase of Twitter."

Before you post an angry reply, I know the "The US Sun" is a tabloid. But they claim to have interview Elon Musk's dad. And I know Elon can't be held responsible for his father's behavior.

The Sun: Elon Musk’s dad, 76, confirms secret second child — with his stepdaughter

It emerged in 2018 that Errol had baby Elliot Rush, nicknamed Rushi and now five, with Jana, who is 41 years his junior and he had raised since she was four.

...Errol was married to Jana's mother Heide for 18 years and had two children together.

Now Errol has told The Sun his purported second child with Jana was "unplanned" but that he was living with her after the birth of their son.

“It’s not practical. She’s 35,” Errol declared. “Eventually if I’m still around, she might wind up back with me.”

He added: “Any man who marries a [younger] woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it’s going to be nice for a while, but there’s a big gap … and that gap is going to show itself.”

The Musk family tree is complicated — and is growing more so by the day. Errol has seven children, while Elon has fathered 10 offspring.

...Errol went on to wed ... a young widow who already had two children, including Jana.

Errol and Heide had two biological children together, but he also helped raise Jana, who was just 4 years old when he became her stepfather. Errol and Heide eventually divorced after an 18-year marriage.

But the Musk family was subsequently stunned when Jana became pregnant with Errol’s baby back in 2017. It led to a bitter falling out between Errol and Elon, with the Tesla CEO furious that his father had impregnated his stepsister.

Errol’s other children were also “shocked” and uncomfortable about the surprise pregnancy.

“They still don’t like it,” Errol admitted in his new interview with the Sun. “They still feel a bit creepy about it, because she’s their sister. Their half-sister.”
