In all likelyhood, felon Dinesh D'Souza only apologised because they had to pay good money after all their lies.
Distributor of '2000 Mules' election conspiracy film pulls film from all platforms : NPR
The conservative media company behind the book and film “2,000 Mules,” which alleged a widespread conspiracy by Democrats to steal the 2020 election and was embraced by former president Donald Trump, has issued an apology and said it would halt distribution of the film and remove both the film and book from its platforms.
Though “2,000 Mules” has been widely debunked by law enforcement officials and the media, including NPR, the film and book developed a widespread following among supporters of the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen.
According to Andrews’ lawsuit, the allegations in “2,000 Mules” led to violent threats against him and his family. “They worry that again they will be baselessly accused of election crimes, and that believers in the ‘mules’ theory may recognize and seek reprisal against them, and that they may face physical harm,” the lawsuit alleged.
According to a court filing in a related case, Salem settled the lawsuit brought by Andrews for an undisclosed "significant" amount. In the statement on its website, Salem wrote, “It was never our intent that the publication of the ‘2000 Mules’ film and book would harm Mr. Andrews. We apologize for the hurt the inclusion of Mr. Andrews' image in the movie, book, and promotional materials have caused Mr. Andrews and his family.”

I remember having a debate with some MAGA moron on a forum years ago who described that propaganda nonsense as being (somehow) "quite good".
I pointed out that DSouza had actually dropped the price of his "film" as - outside of a very small group of election deniers - most people weren't really interested. I tried to put my point across that retailers don't normally reduce the price of an item if it's selling well, do they? They leave it where it is (or raise it). But do you think I got through to this guy? Of course not 🙄
Bye bye law license! Sucks to be you, Rudy!
PS how's that payment for your defamation judgement coming along? How's that workin' out for you there? 😁
A little less gloating please. As bad as Giuiliani is, I don't like kicking people when they are down. He is paying the price for his misdeeds. Let it go at that.

Sorry, but really - he fully brought this on himself, and did nothing to help his cause, even after losing: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/former-georgia-election-workers-sue-212507847.html
At the end of the first day of their defamation damages trial against him last week, Giuliani told TV cameras outside court that “everything I said about them is true” and that he had proof that the media should “stay tuned.” Giuliani presented little defense in the case and didn’t testify.
But I guess at the end of the day, he's just another person on Trump's (very long) list of people he's used for his own means, then walked away from when they couldn't do what he wanted.
Sure, he did agree later on to finally shut up about them...but not after doing what he did above first, digging himself an even deeper hole. As to "paying", well, when he coughs up the amount, then IMO I feel he will have paid his dues then - and only then.
As an aside, I actually wouldn't be surprised if Trump uses totally different lawyers for his appeal as I bet you he won't end up paying the ones that defended him in the case he just lost.
I don't give a damn about Giuliani or anyone like him. I just don't want the actions of someone like that determining my behaviour. If I take delight in his misfortunes, that reflects on me and my values, not on him and his. I prefer just to say justice has been done in this case and I am glad of that, and move on. I don't want to dance on his grave.

Fair enough. But that doesn't mean you can dictate how others feel about it.

Not trying to dictate anything. Just saying that I find it unappealing.

You said, "a little less gloating please". And "let it go at that". While I wouldn't go so far as to call it "dictating", you were clearly trying to influence others behaviour because you found it unappealing, which I think is @freitasm's point.
I too don't feel it necessary to put the boot in. It is likely the ongoing consequences for Guiliani will be pretty disastrous for him, and I doubt Trump will lift a finger to help.
