I think we're living in an alternate reality. Are you in mine or am I in yours?

Id like to know when this shutdown will end.

The WALL has been proven so many times not to be the saviour. Dems cannot cave, as the wall is expensive, offers no benefit, and just gives the orange one a win. Cave in and more follows. So the orange one has to cave in first. If he does, he will be the winner who "saved" the 800,000. There are a few credible Dems gunning for a nomination in 2020. GOP has a few too, like Pence, Pompeo, and the rest of the swamp.

Essentially a first world country is heading to be a third world country. There is another way to spell country, but I might be "band" -)

Maybe, maybe we are watching a version of the Truman Show. Sun has just come up out here, a microphone just fell on me lawn!

It seems so. Maybe it wasnt, but they key ones got fired, leaving a swamp behind. If I was American, a Republican supporter for years, and I wanted the best for America, I could not not vote for that swamp now. Beto, et al, seem to be a new generation to replace the old while male tribe albeit Dems. They are so far behind. here in NZ we had hard left and hard right, now both main parties are centrist. Over there the GOP has become more right than ever

I am not sure if its been said here or not...

Trump and the Republicans had a unhindered two years to fund the wall where the Republicans controlled Congress.

Why is Trump blackmailing his Country now? Has to be a game to him to try and break the Dems?

New York Times - Trump Confronts the Prospect of a ‘Nonstop Political War’ for Survival

Jan. 13, 2019

WASHINGTON - So it has come to this: The president of the United States was asked over the weekend whether he is a Russian agent. And he refused to directly answer.

The question, which came from a friendly interviewer, not one of the “fake media” journalists he disparages, was “the most insulting thing I’ve ever been asked,” he declared.

But it is a question that has hung over his presidency now for two years.

If the now 23-day government shutdown standoff between Mr. Trump and Congress has seemed ugly, it may eventually seem tame by comparison with what is to come.

The border wall fight is just the preliminary skirmish in this new era of divided government. The real battle has yet to begin.

With Democrats now in charge of the House, the special counsel believed to be wrapping up his investigation, news media outlets competing for scoops and the first articles of impeachment already filed, Mr. Trump faces the prospect of an all-out political war for survival that may make the still-unresolved partial government shutdown pale by comparison. ...

The GOP isn't exclusive to the swamp, but any millionaires business dealers / cronies with Trump are swamp scum!

We have Trump to thank for exposing his companions to some much needed sunshine. His friends will long rue the day they dealt with Trump however.

Here's looking forward to Michael Cohen public testimony, more insight into Trump's shady friends.

I don't know, some here will. The wall seemed to fade over time. There are no plans, designs, feasibility and do on, this is what the 5 billion is for, to start the progress off from day 1. Possibly he did not understand what happens in the midterms as to his power.

The wall has only ever reached the same status as "Jail Hilary" Words in a campaign to mobilise the masses. He won. have-not head much about the wall since, till now, when its ability be built has been taken away.

New York Times - F.B.I. INVESTIGATED IF TRUMP WORKED FOR THE RUSSIANS.

The White House on Friday night dismissed this New York Times report as “absurd”.

“James Comey was fired because he’s a disgraced partisan hack, and his Deputy Andrew McCabe, who was in charge at the time, is a known liar fired by the FBI,” said the White House press secretary, Sarah Sanders.

...  So it must be true   undecided

I have heard that FBI agents are one of the groups of federal workers who are not being paid. But who still have to show up to work.

Messing with the finances of the people who are investigating you is not a good idea.
