The worst thing Barr did this week had nothing to do with the Mueller report ...

Rikkitic: Those were the days. When white men in suits ran things, blacks and women knew their place, Republicans thought only straight sex existed, everyone in the world drank Coca-Cola, and people didn't think Andy Hardy was a dork.
Sorry, I actually like Mr Smith. It was always one of my favourite films. But the message is that things can actually be made better in Washington and I don't believe that anymore.
Those were the days, alright. When you knew that corruption existed, but only in third world countries where people crapped in holes in the ground and wiped their bums with their fingers.
Today, corruption is everywhere, and taken for granted. Lying is no longer something that dishonest people do.
What's changed? Not us, I'm afraid. We're just as lying, scheming and devious as we ever were, but the brakes are off, now. Anything goes.
Without honest leaders, rules, laws and exemplary standards of behavior to follow, we're nowhere.
In NZ we have Jacinda, thankfully, and she seems to be a straight arrow.
But there may come a time soon when every country has a Trump at the helm.
Not a world I want to be in.

The Washington Post - Trump finds in Barr the attorney general - and shield - he long sought
May 2 at 8:07 PM
For a time, President Trump was reluctant to select William P. Barr as his attorney general.
The veteran Justice Department official from the George H.W. Bush administration was not a longtime Trump loyalist, and the president wondered whether one of his own political allies might serve better as a shield ...
But Trump was ultimately persuaded - in part because his lawyers and advisers told him Barr was a strong supporter of presidential power and unafraid of taking on critics.
This week, the president has been thrilled with his choice, particularly after Barr sparred so vigorously with Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday ...
... Critics say that Barr has emerged as the partisan champion Trump always wanted - one willing to defend the president’s most questionable conduct, put a Trumpian spin on the results of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation and mislead Congress along the way. ...

Duh - How long has that 'PREVIEW' button been there?
It'll be useful for text, but it doesn't seem to apply to images, unless I'm doing something wrong...

No surprises here, but it is significant that it is from mainstream and bland media "Time"
Hopefully it means most middle America realize that Trump lies frequently.

Following the example of the President of the United States, I have decided to give him an appropriate nickname. Since he likes to mock the appearance and physical attributes of those he targets, I have chosen for him the eminently suitable nickname of 'Fat bottom'. From now on my profile and avatar will reflect this choice until such time as he is arrested, impeached, or defeated. From this time forth, he will be officially known as Fat bottom Trump!
