I note in this they talk of drones lasting 2 or 3 weeks, so they are burning through them.
It was also noted in the earlier article below that equipment damage and loss rate is very high.
Thus constant need for more vests, imagers, drones all the time.

There was another interview with a drone operator saying he had lost a number of his colleagues as they are hunted.

There's no blood, but it does involve two vehicles blown up, most likely no survivors.

Interesting if somewhat dry assessment of the effect of western weapons deliveries to Ukraine, English and German, the latter having a bit more detail. It's by an instructor at the Theresian Military Academy in Austria (a former head of the school was Erwin Rommel), so not the usual World of Tanks player with a Youtube channel.

Palaces, yachts and vineyards reportedly provided to Vladimir Putin by friends and oligarchs can now be linked to what appears to be an informal network holding assets worth more than [US] $4.5bn.

A digital paper trail appears to suggest that an array of holiday homes and other assets reportedly used by the Russian president, which according to available records belong to or have been owned by separate individuals, companies and charities, are linked through a common email domain name, LLCInvest.ru.

Fammine as a weapon is something Ukraine knows well, and they might have thought they should not see it again.

Bombing Food stores and supplies, queues, blocking NGO and UN aid groups access to distribute humanitarian aid.
Perhaps 1000's, or 10,s thousands already died in Ukraine from lack of access to food, even clean water in Ukraine.

Now they want to apply this Globally.
Grain and seed stores, and the loading facilities to export as targets.

Putin has lots of the very best friends who will slink away should he fall.
It was him we were not responsible, just scared rabbits following orders.
Then quietly rally around to boost the next dictator.

Ukraine, Moldova and I think Georgia now have candidate status to the EU

The west needs to stand up here, Putin started off as a debacle and a failure, but the West is bowing to him. Arguably Russia is calling the shots and the West is following. Putin seems to be very powerful, based not on him and his emotional altar-ego but on the West keeping away and giving him space to move. Oil and gas sales are down but prices are up, and BRICS enjoy the supply.

I thought war meant friends help friends. Doesnt seem so. The end result is more Ukrainian deaths and potentially famine to other non First World countries. That the First World are causing inflation induced by oil and gas prices isnt that important compared to deaths, but its another branch that Putin has been allowed to put in place. Like it or not Putin is controlling this war, and we are following.

BBC News - Russia promises Belarus Iskander-M nuclear-capable missiles

breaking

Russia will send nuclear capable short-range missile systems to its ally Belarus in the coming months, President Vladimir Putin has said.

He said Iskander-M systems "can fire ballistic and cruise missiles, both conventional and nuclear types".

The systems have a range of up to 500km (310 miles).

More nuclear sabre-rattling.

Belarus and Nuclear weapons.
Really its not much of an escalation if any as Kaliningrad is by all accounts bristling with them.
Being base for Baltic Fleet and one jumping point right in midst of EU as it were.

Upgrading storage bunkers and perpetrations for Isanders to add to whatever Baltic Fleet has.

I'm sure Belarus will not have direct control over nukes, really its just more Russian forces on Belarus territory, to go with virtual takeover of Airbases etc.

There have been some indications Putin has been pressuring Belarus to fully become a state of Russia. Nukes would actually be an excuse for security reasons to do so I expect.
