Elon Musks Cars and Rockets are a sideshow compared with the harm that he is doing elsewhere.
Even in that he is cover for Thiel, and host of Tech Billionaires who just want to be robber Barons of old.

While Tesla trucks are glued together, Tesla itself is screwed all together.

This is the only vehicle that Elon Musk was the primary designer.

Still I expect Trump to force some deal where government agencies have to buy them, despite Trump general disdain for EV's (in particular ones using electricity from ocean windmills, near sharks)

In latest blow to Tesla, US regulators recall nearly all Cybertrucks: One News

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's recall, which covers more than 46,000 Cybertrucks, warned that an exterior panel that runs along the left and right sight of the windshield can detach while driving, creating a dangerous road hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

The stainless steel strip, called a cant rail assembly, between the windshield and the roof on both sides, is bound to the truck’s assembly with a structural adhesive, the NHTSA report said. The remedy uses an adhesive that’s not been found to be vulnerable to “environmental embrittlement,” the NHTSA said, and includes additional reinforcements.

They will have a surprise if this happens. A certain administration seems to be planning the removal of woke EV chargers...

It's easy to see how Trump bankrupted a casino. Every decision seems to be for vengeance, as long as he's spending other people's money.

Edit: My mistake

Originally thought to be a Government procurement, but just early long term planning?.
It was actually just a consideration for a future budget to buy Electric Vehicles, for Government that would need some armoring for dignitaries etc.
The mention of Tesla was an error, a placeholder for electric vehicle, any decision on make would be later if program approved etc.
Originally meant to embarrass WOKE Biden, now Elon is so popular ? Who knows.
https://gizmodo.com/lawmakers-demand-answers-from-rubio-over-the-400-million-armored-tesla-contract-2000573841

Oh on removing chargers, Tesla has its own network, if these chargers are competing with Tesla its a win win?.

From a movie two years ago, "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery". Some spoilers below.

if you're looking for an indirect parody of Elon Musk, and have Netflix, you may want to check it out.

The character Miles Bron is played by Edward Norton. Miles tries to present himself as a genius innovator similar to Elon Musk, but as the story unfolds, it's revealed that he's more of a poser than a true visionary.

It gradually shows that he doesn't actually understand much of what he says or does; he steals ideas and relies on others to make them work. His "disruptive" ideas are often nonsensical.

Knives Out 2 | Miles Bron is an idiot
