Legitimate question as it happens no matter who is in government but why does it take so long for gardening leave investigations to happen. Current one and I only use this as an example.
This one has been going on for the last 4 months which is a short time for most of the ones I have seen and I can imagine it will probably be still be going 6 or 7 months from now.
I have never seen one where they are not on full pay which I can understand if it is an employment matter.
There have been noted cases of corrections as well as police where things have dragged out for over a year before a conclusion as well.
Surely these people are on employment agreements although maybe more concise than general one's however I just do not get the time involved.
I employ around 100 people and if there is anything that needs to be investigated it generally can be done in under a month including the conclusion.
Why so long??
