Yeah I have no idea who he is but then again anybody would be better than Bridges.
Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding : Ice cream man , Ice cream man
Todd Muller and Nikki Kaye, but Mark Mitchell was named in the Stuff article
Mark Mitchell is clean, that rules out Collins, so MM makes a lot of sense, clean slate

I don't think so. They could do worse - and just might.
Anybody could do worse against a rock star in J A.
Having said that ... J A is a one person band. The rest of the line up (ok maybe WP holds his own and is a good sounding board) is very average.
Anyhow, pop corn ...
Lets see how honesty pans out, from yesterday
One of the men believed to be considering a run at the National leadership - and touted as the right leader by a former Prime Minister - says he isn't interested in the job.

I rate GR as No.1 in that party
Quote of the day (from RNZ article):
Peter Bedford said one of Bridges' problems was that he wasn't memorable.
"Three of us were talking the other day and none of us could remember his first name, which is quite brutal."

No one is publicly interested in rolling the leader. Until they do it.

Nah think Donald Trump.
No idea what you're on about

I do. Not sure it's an entirely fair comparison, but MM could fit in to the present US Republican party very easily.
Anyway - he's not in the race.

Maybe...
I don't think he comes across as "sincere". Hard to put my finger on it - but if John Key and Simon Bridges told me the same thing in exactly the same words, Key would seem to me to be far more sincere. Everything Bridges says seems forced - like he doesn't believe it himself.

Wow ok. I though he was clean. Ex cop?

His tape bugged me. JK commented the other day as to the good way we managed the virus, then spent the next sentence minimising it. Thats the difference, you don't want to praise the other party so just say nothing. Opposing for the sake of it is an issue. SB has no ideas, so he opposes.
