Homeless people were given temporary shelter by Portland health officials to protect them from Covid 19. So naturally the rabid right turned this into an officially-sanctioned rioter encampment and now the Internet idiots are gleefully spreading this around. Why are these deranged lunatics always so eager to jump on the worst possible interpretation for things? Maybe we really do deserve to be exterminated by aliens.

Because that's what the POTUS routinely and systematically does as an example of "leadership".

Youtube still have the "Never Alone With Christ" channel up because of a distorted view of the first amendment gives them the idea that to deplatform fascists may be "unconsitutional", that as a "platform" they're legally not held responsible for hosting and promoting fascist content, but the primary reason for them is that there's money in it, for them.  And if money can be made, then it must be good.  So they do not care.

That's politics these days (on both ends of the spectrum, but not in the middle).
