The UK is boned. 

 

Their popular media channels produce class-based snark for general consumption but then the population throws up Uno reverso cards like Brexit or repeatedly voting the Tories in, which then prompts yet more commentary that verges on contempt for the people they make it for. 

 

I can't think of a first world country so poorly served by its core democratic institutions than the UK.
