TLDR version from The Spinoff: https://thespinoff.co.nz/politics/07-11-2022/us-midterms-the-races-to-watch-and-why-they-matter

Any picks/bets on what might happen this week? Disclaimer: I'm biased and (obviously) hope that Trump's cronies don't win a damn thing, but I don't hold high hopes, sadly.

Interesting results so far, Politico has a pretty good interactive map here: https://www.politico.com/

if senate is 50=50 then whoever holds VPOTUS can provide an extra vote as tie breaker in law making decisions

A rather blistering assessment of what happened to the Republicans from Rolling Stone:

Yes, and Trump has been told to shut up and stay away:

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/us-midterm-elections-2022-toxic-trump-urged-to-stay-quiet-on-presidential-bid-and-stay-away-from-georgia-race/JDB2T3T4TNECLJX3YX5XZSKM3U/

Very good advice. Whether he listens to it/takes it on board though is a different story. I remember his big, stupid mouth basically cost the Republicans the runoff in Georgia in late 2020.
