@cws82us ..? There is no issue there. This is how UniFi graphs normally look and should not be taken for any indication that anything is wrong.

If you actually have a problem with your internet connection then contact Voyager Support however just note with running a third party custom router support may be limited. You need to otherwise explain what the problem is in detail without just pointing at some cryptic graphs from your router.

I wonder what server the ping is from @cws82us? 15ms seems usual for Dunedin?

As a bit of a footnote to this whole discussion, I'm currently sitting in Wanaka remoting into my workstation in Dunedin. 35ms of latency and the only time I really notice is when I am typing a lot. For general 3D/2D work it is absolutely fine. Am using Parsec (HP's licensing makes Teradici a huge pain to use now which is sad) 2560x1440 at 60fps and 12bit colour with H265 compression handled by the GPU at each end. It is very impressive and I tend to forget I'm not working locally.

So... I got a Voyager connection at my office (in central Dunedin) and was interested to test the latency between it and home. It comes in at around 12-15ms and I have been chatting to Voyager support about this. The answer I got in the end (after first being told there is no Dunedin PoP at all) was:

We do have a Dunedin PoP and we do locally take Chorus handover at exchange.
However as per our Network design we terminate PPP connections to our nearest BNG, whether that's in Christchurch, Wellington, or Auckland

I'd be interested to hear of any ISP recommendations from people in Dunedin as I might move away from Voyager and see if I can find something a little better. I know 15ms is nothing at all but it does make a difference when working on a remote machine.

And to be clear Voyager have been nothing but reliable and great, with excellent support. I have a very specific issue I'm trying to address here.
