Shouldnt matter if its VDSL or not really as routing should be the same...... and maybe its not just Voyager.

Lately I've noticed streaming anything from twitch.tv has gone to crap. If I'm lucky, I can stream a 720p video for a few mins without buffering, whereas a few months ago I could stream at 720+ with hardly any buffering at all.

For example, yesterday trying to watch the official Overwatch stream on twitch, was horrible, either had to run it at a low resolution or have it buffer the whole time. Switch to YouTube for the same stream, 720/1080 with no buffering.

Anyone else experienced this ?

Just tested this through my Parents connection (via a Socks proxy on a Raspberry Pi mind you). Using Cloudflare DNS and no issues.

I'm on voyager fibre 100/20 connection and have been streaming twitch for a couple of days now, with no problem at all. I know it's not entirely what you're looking for (as it's fibre instead of vdsl), but it shouldn't be a routing issue.

Hmm odd.... will try a few more things such as DNS etc and see how I go. I initially thought might be browser related as I do have a few extensions running in Chrome, but nope, all browsers exhibit the same issue. I don't watch a lot of Twitch, but annoying when I do I have to watch it now in low res :-p

Howabout the twitch app instead? I have found it to be somewhat better than a chrome window.

Edit : Found it on their site...thought you were meaning a Win 10 app from the store :)
