Hi Moved to a copper BB area. Have got ADSL2 and Voice with Spark(took over old owners account). Been on UFB since 2013. So quick question's as not sure on copper anymore...

1 Voyager vs 2degrees any good?, have gamer kid at home don't know what he plays but descent paring would be help I guess. Spark BB on copper is expensive.

2 No issues changing BB provider it wont cut off copper land line with spark?

Why do you need to keep the landline? Either provider provides a voip option which you could port your number to (I think).

I haven't had a landline in over 10 years, with multiple mobile phones in the house it's not really necessary these days.

The landline is a business number and needs to stay intact. I am trying to do one step at a time to minimise screw ups.

But as soon as the new broadband is changed I will be porting LL number to 2talk. As I already have numbers with them..

2 degrees is a good choice.

Unless you've got a majestic copper connection the best thing for game latency is fibre.

Traditional landlines are disappearing. If you switch plans or vdsl you'll likely be ported to voip unless you specify. Fibre of course will cut the copper so you'll lose it completely.

Edit: is the plan with you business number under a business account? If not then its up in the air as you technically shouldn't be running a business number on a consumer service.

Hi the 2talk phone account is a business plan. Where I have moved to has only Adsl2 service. So nothing
faster.

If you're porting the DSL over, you will need to ask your new broadband provider to put in "No change to existing POTS" when they submit your order to Chorus.

This way, your DSL will be moved over to the new company and the landline will stay with Spark.

After that, you can port the landline number away.
