I noticed i was getting an error encrypting the wallet each time; i dont recall if this happened the first time i set it up on my note5, but every other time when I tried to reset it to see if it was a bad wallet, I would get this error.  sometime yesterday that error went away and I was able to create/encrypt a wallet without any errors, will try in the weekend to see if its now working (fingers crossed)

still no joy with this, downloaded the latest update, delete the app, deleted wallet, added wallet, removed cards, readded cards.  nothing I try has made it work on a note5.

 

been in contact with anz, their response has been basically, "we might have to remove it from the supported device list" (not we might have to fix it.... sigh...)

 I opened an ANZ account to try this out and it has been working great for the last few weeks on my Spark S6. Coexistence with Snapper / Semble works as expected without issues. Love it.

That is strange, maybe reach out to their Twitter team and see if they can try whatever they did to fix my issue for you?  It works flawlessly after whatever it was they did.

Tried everything, emailed them, twittered them, had some help via a PM on here (not a direct anz dev but someone who can talk to that team), still no joy.  I might just open an account with ASB and use that as my every day account, at least semble will always just work...

I've just joined ANZ and I'm getting a cannot connect please check your internet message when I hit the enable toggle. All other aspects of the app work fine.

Nice surprise.

 

 

 

Another ANZ update and just went to my settings on my 2nd gen Moto-X and noticed tap and pay is all of a sudden enabled. Showing in app as "XT1092" and default payment option :)

 

Ex warehouse stationary so a EU import.

Well I haven't used it for about a week and then noticed when I used it today actually show the transaction I just made. Prior to that the transactions were only listed for about 2 days ago. That is a nice update.

My previous issue was using a ROM without the API required apparently. I've gone from dirty unicorns back to CM nightlies and it's working now

Since I started using it (so about 3-4 weeks now?) I was getting the transactions in bare details (i.e. Date, Debit, -$15) showing in app when logging in.  But I did notice they have a big banner plastered on Internet Banking that they have changed it to show all un-confirmed transactions (holds, not fully processed tx, etc) online now.

Tried to pay at countdown with the phone.. got 1 light then 'please insert/swipe card'.. DOH!

So, despite the Tap N Go option appearing in the OS menu, and displaying the ANZ Gomoney option. After a number of tries, I've been presnted with 'swipe card', 'invalid card type' and 'please use other card' messages on various terminals

 

Doing the online self-check, turns out the XT1095 (Moto G Gen2) isn't on the whitelist. Sad panda. Also no secondary menu appearing within the app itself which apparently is required :(

 

Damn shame, given it appears to the OS as an option

It seems that ANZ are currently piloting new/additional devices to be added to the goMoney Wallet.

 

I'm not sure exactly what devices or how many (I don't work for ANZ); but as a "pilot tester", I've been able to setup my previously "non whitelisted" device fine.  Haven't felt it necessary to rush out and buy anything just yet, so haven't actually tested if it works.  It probably will; the previous generations of my specific device were supported from the initial rollout.

Good to hear that the list is expanding or better still they don't have a exact model specific whitelist

I've tried it several times, with no success.

 

I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it and tried again today.

 

When I tried to pay (at Countdown), it registered that I touched the terminal, but asked me to insert og swipe card.

 

I used to be able to use this with no issues (from same phone), while I lived in Australia (using Westpac).
