So, it seems that ANZ will be launching their own contactless "Digital Wallet" tomorrow....

Will it actually work on my phone? We'll have to see....

No it won't.

The solution uses HCE.

If (or when) Apple open up their NFC solution to 3rd parties they'll be able to build solutions using it.

I have an Android, so in theory HCE shouldn't be an issue.

However, given it's a Nexus 4 running a Custom Rom ("Chroma Marshmallow for Nexus 4"), it could go either way on the whole "will it work" question...

when does tyhis actually update today ... i'm a anz customer and s6 owner so looking fwd to this .... although no mention of anything being active in the app currently ...

it says in a FAQ's

"How do I get ANZ goMoney Wallet? goMoney Wallet is an optional feature within the ANZ goMoney app. If you don't have ANZ goMoney already, you can download it for free from the Google Play store. The ANZ goMoney app will check whether you have a compatible Android phone for goMoney Wallet. If you do, you'll receive a message when you log in inviting you to set up goMoney Wallet. You can either follow the prompts to set it up then, otherwise goMoney Wallet will appear in your goMoney settings so you can set it up at any time in the future."

Google play says "App up to date" but on version 4.3 and in the store it says version 4.7 is the latest... how can I force my nexus 5 to update (and is the nexus 5 supported?)

I really wish android wear devices would work with this kind of thing, im sure one day they will be, but thats what I'm really looking forward too.

UPDATE: nvm, im stupid, 4.3 was the app rating not the version, I'm on 4.7 :)

Ditto. I wonder if it's because it's being slowly released?

Also for some reason when I installed GoMoney it said my device is rooted and security isn't guaranteed. But my N5 is stock with no root. I am pretty sure that the bootloader is locked also since I have neverr done any updates apart from OTA
