johnr: I am not changing banks just over this issue, I had another credit card issue last month and that was a mess as well which was sorted,
I have even done beta testing for ASB before they launched the new ASB app and the next version which included the Facebook payments, It's not like they don't know me
bazzer: I don't really see what the big deal is. You don't want the limit and now they don't want to give it to you. Sounds win-win?

Maybe they are dissatisfied with your beta testing, now that they have me complaining that their app is tediously slow.
EDIT: fantastic news about the $2 fee for saving a payee. When we first joined ASB 5 years ago, I emailed them to ask why they charged that fee when I could just write the account details down on a piece of paper, and also my previous bank ANZ didn't charge for it. I got back a very generic answer.
