Just wondering if any Geekzone members have had there pre-approved credit card limit removed in the last 24 - 48 hours?

My credit card limit is 2K but I could adjust it up to 4K online or in the ASB mobile App, Log into ASB website today click on adjust limit and it's gone! Call ASB Call centre they advise me it's been removed from everyone, Check twitter and people still have it call back second staff member tells me they have reviewed my accounts and it's been removed

I asked why and the only answer they could give was cause they have reviewed your account,

John

Mine is removed 100% and it takes me to another page saying I need to apply for a new limit

No limit has not changed in years and I owe a grand total of $80

My Salary from work is paid into my account 00 account with ASB,

They even offered me a gold or platinum card about 12 months ago and I said no thanks,

Perhaps ASB is trying to help you curb your excessive lifestyle?

(my pre-approval is still available)

Mine is still there. Does seem unusual as they keep trying to convince me to have a larger limit as well.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

Unusual alright my Salary from Vodafone NZ has been going into my ASB 00 account for over 12 years and my previous job before that of 3 years and my jobs before that,

Never had any credit issues, Always pay things on time and I don't like owing $$$

@BNZbank on twitter have contacted me and I am now working with them and looking at changing banks,

I am not changing banks just over this issue, I had another credit card issue last month and that was a mess as well which was sorted,

I have even done beta testing for ASB before they launched the new ASB app and the next version which included the Facebook payments, It's not like they don't know me
