The event is later tonight and we still have some space left. Make sure you register below to attend it! Snapper and Sembler will have terminals for people to see this in action and test themselves. The telcos will be present ready to swap your SIM cards if you have compatible devices.

Eventbrite - Snapper now available in Semble

I have semble with snapper enabled. Tag on and off on buses is always a bit fiddly. some times it works fine, but some times, I need to attempt 3 or 4 times, to get a proper read. I have s6 with Vodafone semble sim. I would like to know if anyone else had a similar issue, and how did you manage to resolve it.

I have an S4 which can be quite fiddly.

Can you describe what happens when you need to attempt 3 or 4 times.

One of the problems I have is that the reader seems to try to read the phone while it is still too far away and I'll get "please try again", if I take the phone away and try again I get the same problem.  The solution in this case seems to be just hold the phone to the reader when it says "please try again" and let it retry.  This seems to work.
