Just got an email from ANZ.
Need goMoney ver 5.

LOL they are doing a draw to win back the cash spent using the contactless payment, up to 2k

The little things make the biggest difference.

Just got an email, you require ANZ Go Money version 5, which doesnt look available yet.  Play store says latest is 4.7.

Think the update hasn't been released to the Play store yet. I reckon their list of supported devices was made up from devices they've actually physically tested when many more phones should be supported in theory. Examples are like Z3 being in the list while the Z3 compact is not.

It'll be interesting to see if an Xposed module or a build.prop change can get around this check. I'll give this a shot when the APK is available.

Are they doing it by specific device model rather than merely being at least KitKat with NFC/HCE capability? If so, many of the complaints against Semble will be revisited upon ANZ.

By the sounds of the post, it looks like if your exact model isn't in their list, you won't be supported. I was hoping they'd be more open to one-up Semble but I suppose with money and payments involved, they're being extra cautious.

Yeah, rather annoyingly, the Nexus 6P isn't supported by the 5X is.

Does it require roaming data to use HCE PayPass/PayWave abroad?

hmm says i have no eligible cards... even though i have two low rate mastercards loaded on the app ..

the other thing, it asks to be made the default tap to pay software on the device ... wonder if that disables sembel/snapper ...

Probably because of needing to get agreement with the card networks and almost noone having a mastercard so not worth the effort right now.

I just wrote an Xposed module to trick the app into thinking my Nexus 4 is a Galaxy S6. So far I've managed to set up a card, just need to test it in stores now.
