Take a look at Squirrel P2P.

 

The returns have dropped in the last couple of years but you can still get 6% on a 1 year term.

 

Risk is low but still higher than a term deposit. You will have to assess it for yourself.

Not sure if Squirrel P2P have improved but recent forums suggest that it takes a while to get investment filled even at the lower interest tier. Same issue I had when I created an account with Harmoney before.

No such issues at lendingcrowd.co.nz. Their loans are snapped up so quickly, somebody must be automating something somewhere. I guess that's also why their loans have gone down in size.
