Good question! I had to look it up.

I have a PIE Save, it seems to you have the Sharesies Save.  The PIE save has a 28% tax rate.

How do you apply for this? Just use your email on the waitlist?

I'd signed up to the waitlist a while back, but ignored their first survey/etc because I didn't see the point at the time. Got the signup invitation email yesterday afternoon, so just a case of registering interest and waiting. Noticed that while it's annual fee free I can take advantage and save a few bucks on an upcoming transaction (FX fees significantly cheaper) so signed up.

The app is encouraging me to get the debit card.

Looking at the website it says you can load on multiple currencies so is it plausible that it is an alternative to the Wise Card?

Yes it’s an alternative, but I seriously doubt it’s got better ex rates…the volumes that wise are pushing around would dwarf sharsies..

Any possibility that it's a 'white labeled' or rebranded Wise Card?

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

You cannot currently load multiple currencies on the card; it is listed as an upcoming feature though.

Cards are labeled as "issued by Change Labs NZ Pty Ltd" which appears to be https://changefinancial.com/ not sure if there is any link up to Wise through that but doesn't appear to be.
