I’ve checked instructions to open a jar, but it doesn’t relate to my app, says to click on the + in the right, no such thing there. I can’t figure out how to open a Jar account to put my NZ$ in. Would appreciate a hand.

On the main page of the app, slide across the open currency accounts you have (swipe left) until you get to [+ New]

Click on that, then open a Jar

Thanks so much. Too much happening and things to sort there’s a brain freeze. Found jar and put all NZ$ in there so only Oz dollars used as advised above. Added the physical Wise card for the cruise as unsure if they would accept the virtual one since they may need to view it.
Almost done. Now just need to withdraw some cash from ATM as back up, no idea which bank ATM to avoid. I get visions of card swallowed.

You'll be fine,

But if you are worried many ATMs will now support paywave cards without the need to actually insert them ...

Also see this thread to see which bank's ATM's have the lowest fees. Enjoy the cruise!

Looks like ANZ is the best and we have one down the street. Last time here went to that Commonwealth one and it cost $10!

But it’s warm and sunny here and when I get my eyes out of sorting out devices and rid of the headache might even enjoy it. Thanks all for your help.

Will just share my experience getting cash from an ANZ ATM.

$500 cost 3rd party ATM fee $2 meaning ANZ and then Our ATM fee $3.16 meaning Wise.

I don’t understand why when I’ve already changed to Aus$ in Wise and withdrawing Aus$ why do Wise charge another fee. My understanding is you get 2 free withdrawals per month. When I have time I will raise this with them because if it’s the case then changing from NZ$ to Aus served no purpose as they already charged for the exchange.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Think it's only free up to $350 NZD.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
