PayPal can accept the Prezycard, but up to a limit. They will only keep using the card after validation - which requires you to have a statement and fixed address, which the Prezycard doesn't offer.

As for buying things directly with the Prezycard, it should be transparent...

Do you actually need a credit card to use PayPal? I have both my credit card and my bank account set up. Surely just the bank account suffices?

You can only do automatic withdrawals from a credit card on PayPal.

You need to have a confirmed address before you can send money.  Even if somebody uses his card to send you money, I do not think that you can send that money to the seller as you do not have a confirmed address.

No, no... The idea is not to use the Prezycard to load Paypal - you can't do that since there's no address on file for your Prezycard.

The idea is to use the Prezycard to purchase the mp3 player directly. Forget Paypal!

and the creditcard holders name to enter is never your name with a prezzy card, its "PREZZY CARD HOLDER"

Just found out today that f you want to buy a prezzy card worth over $100 today you MUST pay at least a small portion of the total via EFTPOS. (I guess to prevent fraud).

But seeing as a prezzy card works on EFTPOS (as a credit card) then I think you could use one of those anyway - making this small security measure worthless.
