Hi guys. I am looking to buy a few things off Ebay. I am fine with buying stuff off Amazon but I feel sceptical about buying items off Ebay (even though I know it will be fine).

I am worried about buying something, then getting my bank account cleared out. Is there any chance the sellers can take more money than what the purchase price was? Example I buy something for $20, they take $100 instead. I guess if you stay off dodgy sites, buy from sellers with good feedback everything should be fine, but im worried about getting scammed.

Guessing the answer will be no, there is no chance, but asking anyway to put my mind at rest.

Cheers.

I think ebay has buyer protection... I bought something off Ebay last month. The item never arrives. Complained to Ebay and they refund back within 24 hours.
