We have an special giveaway, thanks to ADATA who is bringing some of their products to the New Zealand market. This giveaway is different because this time we will do a draw but expect the winners to actually give us a feedback in the form of a short review we can publish.

Here is what you can win:

Premier SP610 Solid State Drive

The Premier SP610 SATA III 6Gb/s SSD is ideal for upgrading your PC and laptop. It is powered by the SMI controller to offer outstanding performance with sequential read/write speeds of up to 560 and 450 MB/s, and 4KB random read/write speeds of up to 73,000/72,000 IOPS. With consistently fast data speeds, lower power consumption, and competitive price, the SP610 lets you enjoy faster boot up and program loading than ever before.

The SP610 Solid State Drive comes in a thickness of 7mm to meet the needs of ultra-slim notebook computers. A 2.5 mm spacer is provided for use in 9.5mm disk bays.

PV110 Power Bank

The PV110 Power Bank has a high capacity of 10400mAh and is equipped with dual USB ports that provide 3.1mAh of output (1A + 2.1A), which can charge your smartphone and tablet simultaneously - up to 5 full charges for an iPhone 5 and 1.5 charges for an iPad Mini.

The PV110 will automatically turn off when it is disconnected from the charging device. It will also turn off when the device is fully charged or idle for over 10 seconds.

How to Enter
: reply in this thread with your plans for either prize or both (we don't know which one you will get until the draw) - double entry points if you post a photo (upload the photo to Geekzone and use the BBCODE provided). Be creative here folks.

Very important to note: If you win one of these products we will arrange shipping directly from ADATA. You will then have two weeks to write a short review (something from five paragraphs and up, including a couple of good quality photos) that you can email to me for posting.

General rules: one entry per user only in our competition. Two winners will be randomly selected. One will receive the ADATA SP610 SSD and the second will receive the PV110 Power Bank. Previously banned users aren't qualified to win. Competition is open to New Zealand residents with a New Zealand delivery address only. This giveaway closes 6 October 2014 (New Zealand time). Winners will be selected in a random draw and contacted via email. After confirmation we will post winner's username in this topic. Winners are required to write a short review within two weeks as described in this post.

Email notification: this topic may get quite busy, so if you don't want to receive email notifications when new replies are posted, remember to uncheck the "E-mail me when someone replies to this post" option. An unsunscribe option is always sent with every email.

I would find a use for either. The SSD would be the first new component in my main pc in about 5 years and the Mr's could have the charger since her phone is always dieing when she's out and about.

SSD would be thrown in a laptop to get off the slow as 5400RPM drive.

Powerbank will be used to power phone's etc while away from power plugs, and prevent worrying about running out of juice through the day.

I would use the SSD to power my main PC and probably use it to store and play some of my Steam collection as I'm currently using a hard drive for that, which can be quite slow.

As for the powerbank, I would use it to keep my phone powered up when I go places as I always seem to run out of juice and it's often a hassle trying to find a power point (plus you get tethered to the plug then)

I'm in for both thanks.

For replacing the dead hard drive in my otherwise perfectly good laptop.

For extending my battery life of my mobile while out Geocaching far far from anywhere.

Yay... WOuld love either...

SSD would become a scratch drive for photo thumbnails and lightbox catalog databases.

Power bank is something very useful for keeping things charged while out in the middle of nowhere taking photos at night like this...

Enter me for the Adata SSD please. I would like to test/have one of the 610's. We have used almost every ADATA ssd at work and I would like to see how the 610 compares. Also my desktop could really use a boost. Anandtech rates them pretty highly.

I'd be keen for either one. The SSD will go into my Hyper-V box to make my Guests go a bit quicker, the powerbox will go with me at Christmas time  and will be used to charge my various gadgets!

I could really use a SSD on my machine... The weakest link on it is the 5400rpm hard drive :(

May I please have the SSD to put into my PS4, because it's HDD has just died, which inhibits my playing of Destiny.

Would be keen for either.
The SSD would be great to upgrade the current 128GB on in my laptop that is running out of space.

Either or would suit me :D The powerbank would go good in my car as my car charger died and the SSD speaks for itself how it would be useful

Count me in for both.
The SSD would be used to speed up the wife's laptop and reduce complaints about slowness.
The powerbank would go in the travel bag.

SSD drive into my desktop PC. It would stop the wife from complaining about the noise my WD Black makes!
